KJV Sword Study Bible Giant Print Designer Purple Ultrasoft: King James Version Imitation Leather – Large Print, January 15, 2018

I reviewed this Bible extensively before I purchased it; not just on Amazon but everywhere I could find a review of it (especially on YouTube) Every review I found, spoke in glowing terms about this KJVER Sword Study Bible. The more I read about it, the more excited I became! I saw the reviews on Amazon as well and was super impressed. All I can say is WOW! I have bought so many study Bibles and have even been given at least one (my dad left me his on his passing). From the way it explains the Names of God that totally enhances my understanding of the context; to the way it handles the singular and plural usages of the words thee, thou, thy and thine and also the word ye are all changed to you but with an indication as to whether the word “you” is singular or plural is simply awesome. The Treasury of Biblical Information is an outstanding feature. The concordance is tremendous. You won’t find any other study Bible this good at any price and this one is not expensive! Even the leather backing is so good it leaves me totally astounded. I will never want another!

I hunted for a good study Bible, watched several video reviews of different study Bibles, finally I settled on this one. I’ve only had it for one day and already I love it. There are so many study helps. A big plus is, half the pages aren’t filled with notes, and the biggest plus is you don’t have to hunt in a paragraph for a verse.

I bought this for my wife and she has one of the older purple sword Bibles from Gem Publishing. You can't get them anymore and I love the oversized print with the KJVER. Well, this is an upgrade in beauty and quality with the same great translation. My wife loved it and I would reorder again. The decoration isn't a graphic, it is etched into the cover and is just fantastic. Enjoy!

This is a lovely, lovely Bible. Layout is easy, holding/laying on lap is wonderful, lots of really useful, interesting info in back. Be careful on type of underliners/highliters as pages are very thin. Love words of Jesus in red & the red box for God's words quoted from OT & that it is very easy on my eyes--a MUST for me. Also like that I am assured the KJV for study purposes is intact, w/only mostly the 'thees & thous' changed. I am very happy I settled on this one, tho am still looking for the 'right' NASB (I don't have that translation).

A lovely Bible with very large print. I hope to receive many years of usage. Also has a large concordance and other valuable information.

I love the updated words for the old English and that the Scriptures weren't altered to accomplish it.I know of no other Bible version that retains the KJV while updating the language.I would prefer a thicker paper and white, not opaque, and omitting the commentaries in the back.The Bible really should be just Bible concordance, graphs, harmonies, etc.Commentaries just add physical weight.Thicker paper could have been used instead. And as always, darker ink.I do appreciate this giant size font Bible. Thanks!

I bought this bible for my son for a Christmas present, will be sending it back. The pages are very thin and as a result hard to turn to the next. The description said LARGE print, it isn't large at all. Although it is very descriptive, making it a good study bible, with the pages being so thin I wouldn't even find it good for that. Will try again.

Really beautiful Bible. I purchased this for my sister who wanted a large print Bible. She loves it and the purple cover is so pretty. It is a bit on the heavy side though. I would buy it again.

Very Happy with this Bible. The service I got from Book Depository was fast and safe. There is so much in this Bible, useful references, and a unique chain reference system for research. The design and cover are lovely to the eyes and touch. I bought it primarily for the large print size and the fact that it is KJV. Yes very happy, and my bible study group are already casting envious eyes on it. Isn't that a sin!

The Bible is purple........love it. The print is large........love it. However the print is soooooooo tiny in the back of Bible. The concordance is just as important to me, as the Bible, and I have to put on reading glasses to read it. Doesn't it make sense to make the print large as well. Other than that, the Bible is lovely and a pleasure to read. I would encourage others to buy it.

Really liked this KJVer bible, real leather, indexed and giant print!, finding a cover to fit isnt that hard but finding one that I like for it is a problem LOL but seriously there are no issues with this, it is a translation that I can trust, love that Gods words are in red, and changed words are underlined with explanations, lots of great added info about the books and maps with a good concordance as well, quality seems good so far ..... only time will tell if it hangs together!

The quality is great. Hands down the nicest Bible I have ever owned. Would recommend to anyone.
