Easy to use at all levels. Sturdy and feels comfortable in the hand.
Not sure that little yellow plastic wire guide is necessary. It's a thoughtful design feature but it's kind of like a fifth wheel. I didn't use it. The tool does what the ad describes. Well worth the price.

Not the best, but does well enough for the price.
I've only just learned to solder properly (as a result of modifying RGB strip lighting) but even I'm sure that a tools feature should last more than a few wire strips. I was able to put 2-3 wire extensions into my RBG strips before I had to 'assist' the tool when stripping wires as it was no longer gripping 22AWG wire properly even with the tool being set to 24AWG. Apart from that though the tool does as advertised.

great gadget
I bought this for my boyfriend. I ordered one for myself and it was so cool that I knew he needed one too! This makes me want to strip all the wires in the house!! It's fun!

Not worth the money
I used it about a dozen time and seemed to work well. After that the jaw that come down to hold the wire, no longer did.I threw it away. Not worth any further aggravation.

The one I have had for years and is self adjusting. But it got hard to use as it would slip on wire. I really enjoy using the new one with adjustable tension. It's a great tool.

Mostly OK
Wire stripping function works well. Hope the blades stay sharp.The wire cutter function is woefully inadequate. Would not cut through 12 gauge two-wire speaker cable that acheapy $5.00 wire stripper handled with ease.

Go easy and a great tool
Whow, so easy to strip electrical wire of an gauge. Also the wire cutter aspect works great and is conveniently a very usable part of the tool.
