Review: Helps with knee surgery recovery - I bought a pair of these for my mum a few months ago as she recently had a knee replacement and someone I know had recommended using ice packs on the knee. At first she was rather dubious but after using one quickly became a fan and said it really did help reduce the swelling and pain. I bought a pair of these for my mum a few months ago as she recently had a knee replacement and someone I know had recommended using ice packs on the knee. Bought these after total knee replacement. I had a full leg one from the hospital but used this once this had become ineffective. Worked well and is not too cold or uncomfortable with the padding. Also used it on my ankle to reduce swelling, with the long straps it stays in place. A good product. I would have given it five stars if it covered more of the leg.
