The best way i can put into words what chlorella growth factor is, is that you basically take regular, standerdized, broken cell wall chlorella, and inject it with some steroids. CGF is a nucleotide-peptide complex derived from the chlorella. It is made mostly of nucleic acid derivatives. From the studies i have read, CGF is produced during photosynthesis, and allows the chlorella to grow at an accelerated pace. I guess in layman's terms, it enhances this rate of reproduction and replication within the cells. Because of this, i subscribe to the less is more paradigm. I usually take two to three tablespoons a day of Chlorella Fella powder, but half the amount when im consuming these tablets. i like to rotate between the two, and find that these tablets come in handy in specific scenarios. When i'm traveling and feel jet lag, loading up on probiotics, feeling a little under the weather, or performing copious amounts of physical activity, ill pop anywhere from 20 to 30 of these tablets at a time. They work, and can also be taken along with basic chlorella for an ancillary effect.I have tried around three or four CGF products from different manufacturers who claimed excellent quality and superior sources, and the overall product still wasnt half as good as this one from the Chlorella Fella. These have no bitter taste of fillers like magnesium stearate or fishy finish that lingers on your palate. These taste sorta like pine nuts and have no remnants of a foul odor. Very clean product, and you don't have to worry about this being produced in the PROC, and their food and safety standards, or lack thereof.The most important thing i can say is that if you do decide to try this, and you are new to the chlorella game, start off slow and gradually build your way up the cunsumption pyramid. This stuff is extremely potent, and will cause reactions in some in high doses. Most of the time the reaction is just a simple detox, so try not to panic.Good luck and good health to all

I noticed a difference in my skin and joint pain in under a week taking 5 tablets a day. After a few weeks, I cut back to 1 tablet a day with a 5 tablet day once a week. I take it with astaxanthin and started to see my skin getting a little photosensitive. It has a high CGF percentage and thought that may have caused it. But still really like the product!

The Chlorella growth factor seems to be legit. I've noticed better muscle tone after using it for a few months. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is it's expensive
