I have never used a vacuum sealer before this one.It is a nice product. My button is a little touchy but it seems to be more if a problem with my item then with the design itself. It is a lot more powerful then I was expecting for the weight. I was able to lift a full cup of water using it (not sure what this means but I found it amazing).The air tight seal is easy to create, the bags seem nice and thick (hard to say how they will hold up to constant use but the first few are working well). The instructions indicate to use the bags without the included rubber head but it is needed, so I think that was just an typo.I do prefer having batteries in it rather then the cord since the cord removed some of the convenience of the device, but I think the ability to use one or the other is amazing.Overall I do like this, nice for an apartment where I cannot justify a bigger machine. The relience on proprietory bags is annoying but not hard to get over.

I like this product because it is light weight and portable. Having an option for batteries gives me the freedom of movement because my outlet is far away from my prep area. Besides vacuum sealing food for storage, I also use it for cooking. I have a sous vide machine, in which i cook food in a zip lock bag with hot water. Before you submerge the bag into water, you must remove all the air out the bag so it doesn't float. It is pretty hard and messy to do by hand. This device made my life so much easier.

I had given this product 4 stars in my previous review but have to update it.I thought it did not work with several new batteries put in place. Turns out that the batteries I had used which was a new pack were all defective. The product works well. I love the idea of using it either battery or usb. Thanks so much for a great product. I had ordered another Neefeaer foodvacuum when I thought the first unit was defective,so now I have two,but a friend of mine really liked it so gave it to him.

I’ve never really used a vacuum sealer before, but I figured why not try it out in my kitchen. For $20 you can’t go wrong. It includes everything you need to get started sealing your own food. Also, it even charges so you aren’t tied to a wall while using it. All around it’s made much better than I expected and seems like it will last a while. Very simple to use and very convienient.

Before getting this vacuum sealer I had always heard about them and assumed they would be expensive. After seeing this one on amazon, I decided to purchase it. After using it a few times I am completely satisfied! It works great and comes with some high quality bags to get you started, I would highly recommend this!

I realize that some people have had a good experience with this sealer. Not me. It had zero sucking power. Plus, the instructions were useless for troubleshooting. I'm returning it and will pay more to get one that actually works.

good for fruit storage, especially if you buy a lot from Costco, but it only comes with 5 bags, you need to buy additional bags separately

I have twins and I started using this to store their baby food! Omg! it’s so little and easy to use! I didn’t even need to read the directions! I will update if anything changes, but right now I love love love!
