Draper tools in general are of moderate quality, but they are always, in my opinion, well worth the money. For what I paid for these chisels, I have been very impressed with their performance. They were pretty sharp straight out of the box and it took a few days of solid use to see some degradation along the edge, nothing a quick sharpen couldn't fix.The handle is very ergonomic and it's a good weight, I don't like how lighter chisels sit in my hand and they're more likely to slip when doing more delicate work, so having a bit of weight really helps here.

Bought these chisels to be able to fit some new door handle mechanisms that were slightly larger than previous ones.Had read a lot of reviews and decided to go for these as I did not want to spend too much as I wasn't sure how much use they would get.These were great straight out of the box, nice and sharp and ready to go. The handles are strong and can be hit with a hammer without any worry of breaking. Useful to have a few sizes depending on the job.Would be nice to have a better grip on the handle, but you can't complain for this price!

I bought these as they were reasonably priced and based on the product description but it was only on receiving them that I noticed that it states they need "honing" before use. To us laymen that means sharpening and setting. Out of the box one of the chisels cutting blade wasn't straight and was badly pitted, this I assume is why they need setting up before use. As I don't have facilities to do this I managed to do the job I wanted to do with the other two chisels but I did notice that they were blunting as I used them (on an oak door). I would say that if you have the means to be able to set them up and maintain them, then they would be ok but if you want to use them out of the box then beware that they might not do the job.
