This book along with Chemistry NCERT is enough for JEE . No need to watch lectures if you have this book and ncertCovers in depth theory and Explanation in a very lucid wayHowever the printing quality is not soo goodBut the content of the book is sufficient

Main group chemistry is covered and it is a recommend book during PG days.

I got the delivery on time. Book is in ok condition , seems like it is very old. But book is new and everything in book is fine.Content in the book matters and it is very good although it has some printing mistakes but that is common. Selective reading of jd lee will definitely boost your confidence in inorganic chemistry. Also Recommend for serious jee aspirants.

One of the best among it's peers. J.D Lee and N.N Greenwood (its old) tops the genre of "periodic table properties & inorganic chemistry"

Good Book

If you weak or very weak in inorganic chemistry then go for it, it's language is very easy to understand. A strong foundation can be built in inorganic chemistry, but follow those topics only which are in NCERT.

Dimensions except thickness are wrong book is short by 16 percent anyways book came in a fine condition although packaging wasn't good just brown paper and teared thin plastic transparent wrapped. Content is book but printing again is not good it's bad for few pages I can't expect this from wiley's product. Well this is vert good for jee advance after ncert you better read only few selective concepts for advance as this book has very exhaustive theory all chapters are includedThanks

The book provides a very detailed approach to Chemistry. If the motive of the book is to learn chemistry in General, this book is highly recommended. But if you are buying this book from an exam purpose(JEE) point of view, you might want to stick to the syllabus. The theory provided is a lot extra than you might need for JEE. For example, there's a whole separate chapter on ionic bond where the structure of various compounds and other stuff is provided that you won't require at the 10+2 level. I would recommend them to buy the JEE version of this book who are preparing for the exam.

This is a book which helps creating interest in Inorganic Chemistry. Once interest is generated, hard work follows like a natural course leading to success.

Really good condition

I like this book, because one dosent feel like the author tries to put in more or less irrelevant stuff to make the text take up more pages, like it can be seen in some books of American origin. I bought it on the nice reviews instead of the pensum-recommended book, Housecroft, and Im not disappointed at all. However, I cant give it 6 stars, since I havent read it all, and dont know the covering of all the subjects.
