If I could go back in time, I may not have gotten these...
Before breastfeeding, I really liked the idea of these reusable nursing pads because I thought they'd save money in the long run and be better for the environment. I stopped nursing at 6 months and I'm not sure if either of those are true. It's recommend that you change out your nursing pads anytime they're wet to avoid getting an infection. My milk came in full-force after a week postpartum, so this equated to about 5 reusable pad changes a day (maybe 3 changes a day once my supply had balanced out). I ended up having to order a second pair of pads just so we didn't have to do laundry every single day. I'd also regularly wake up after 3-4 hours and have completely soaked through the pads and my shirt. Sometimes doubling up helped, but sometimes it didn't because the pads would shift around in my sleep.Alternatively, I got some disposable pads to pack in our diaper bag and used some out of curiosity. The ones I bought had adhesive to stick to your shirt so they didn't move around. Plus, they had absorbent beads, similar to menstrual pads, so that you could wear the same pair all day and stay pretty dry. Doing the math, I spent $30 on 2 orders of reusable nursing pads and if I had worn 1 pair of disposables a day, it would've cost me $25. Similarly, with all the water and electricity we used to wash and dry the reusable pads (most of the time they required extra drying and air drying took more than a day), I sometimes wonder if it was really better for the environment.Other things to consider - these pads are thick. Even though I got the contoured ones, you could definitely see the shape of the pads through my nursing camisole. And now that I'm done nursing I don't really know what to do with them as I'm not sure if there's anyone who would want to buy used nursing pads. Lastly, if you do still decide to get these (they seem to work well for lots of other people!) make sure to wash them in the garment bag they come with or close any velcro bibs or swaddles before you start a load of laundry because velcro will eat these pads up!

Don't buy for facial toner purposes
I'm trying to cut down on my waste, so I thought these would make a great alternative to cotton pads for my face wash regimen. They're so absorbent that I can't get enough toner from the pad to my face haha! I've ended up using a lot more facial toner than normal. So these have to be great as nursing pads seeing as how absorbent they are!

Way more comfortable than disposables
I used disposable nursing pads with my first born and was planning on doing so again for my second. I ordered these on a whim to give the reusable version a try, and now I won't go back to disposables! They are comfortable almost all day, whereas in my experience, disposables get really scratchy and uncomfortable by dinnertime if I've been wearing them since the morning. They are absorbent enough for me...but I have very "normal" production and don't leak a ton anyway. The contour is not perfect but it's way better than the completely flat ones, which get bunched up in your bra and show through easily. The main takeaway is that they are way more comfortable than disposables! I will be using them again if I have a third baby!

SAVED MY SANITY
With my first pregnancy, I had some cotton-and-wool nipple pads that were wonderfully absorbent, but I was forever milking all the way through them onto my shirt. And with a newborn, you'll be changing your shirt often enough without adding "milked through" to your list of reasons. With my second baby, I bought some of these bamboo, shield-backed pads and they were a GODSEND. My clothes stayed dry! I was even able to stay dry through the night by putting one of my old pads under one of these for extra absorbency. I'm telling you, it was a bona fide miracle. These things have brought me peace of mind.

Perfect!
These nursing pads are perfect! They're soft, absorbent, comfortable & washable. Plus the set comes with a cloth storage bag and a mesh laundry bag. I used them daily for several months and they still look brand new. Now my milk supply has evened out and I don't leak anymore, so I don't need them... But I'm so glad I had them in the early days! I would definitely recommend them!

Thick, absorbent, great alternative to disposables
Used for 3 babies, never had any stains or any problems with them. In fact, I still use them in my bra for a little extra padding. They are much more comfortable and easier to use than disposable ones. Wish disposable ones you have to open each individual package and peel sticker backing off and then you are stuck with a bunch of trash. Disposable ones always feel wet and sweaty, but these reusable ones were great. I couldn't even tell if they were wet. They're pretty thick.

Love the Xlarge size!
I got the xlarge size which is perfect for day and night! Haven't had leaks in them as long as they are in a snug fitting bra and I change them regularly. I would like to order more of these so that I am not having to launder these everyday. Also the xlarge size is the same size as the bamboobies blue overnight pads (noticed that when first washing these with the couple of bamboobies pads that I have), if that helps anyone.

Eh
Honestly, I wanted to like these. It sounded good for the environment but less work than cloth diapers, you know? It just didn't work out as I thought it would. They absorbed milk and got squishy in one feeding (like drenched to where I worried I'd get mastitis if I left them) and then I never washed them as quickly as I needed to in order to not run out.You know what worked though? Those throw away ones. The big box of 50? Yes, those! Awesome! They basically stopped your boob from leaking so they didn't even get soaked through. I could open a pair and wear them for 3 days straight without being in the be-careful-of-mastitis zone. I will always get those.

Get the contour ones only!
I just want to take the time to write a review for this product as the seller is amazing. I originally bought the flat ones and had to return it because it shows when I wear my bra. The seller reached out personally and offered to send me the contour ones to fix this issue. I tried it and it doesn't show from my bra! I don't have much leak issue though so I can't review on how good it absorbs but it feels good.

Totally recommend for off-label use (makeup)
Like a number of people, I didn't buy these for their intended purpose - I bought them as an alternative to disposable cotton rounds for my skincare routine. These bamboo pads are great for cleansing! They're MUCH bigger than a cotton round, which means I'm only using one in the morning and one in the evening, and they're a nice mix of soft and textured to help get the tinted mineral sunscreen and any other makeup off. They come in a cute raw cotton bag AND a mesh laundry bag, which is awesome because I can just hanging the laundry bag in a discreet location and put the used, rinsed pads in their until I do laundry. If I were using these for nursing, I'm sure they'd be great. They're super absorbent and generously sized.

Good product for a decent price.
I received these in the mail this week and have been using them for about 4 days now. So far so good.POSITIVES: I like the size (medium) even with a larger bra size (42DD). Having 7 pairs is great! They are absorbent enough for my flow (mid range), and comfortable enough to wear. The material is soft. I did have my nipples stick to them once, but it did not hurt to pull them off as some do when milk dries. Pads wash well. Extras (bags and breastfeeding guide) are nice to have. Good (and comparable) price.NEGATIVES: They do bunch up a little, but I was able to smooth them out once under my bra comfortably - size and material may play a role.Laundry bag could be a tad larger - because they are bunched in it if all washed at once, I don't trust that they are washing as well as I'd like.Overall good product. I would recommend them.

Falling apart after 12 or less washes
I have had these for 2 months. My baby isn't even here yet and I've only worn/washed these pads about a dozen times if that to catch little leaks. Some had only been worn/washed once. They are already falling apart. Stitching has come undone in some and others are not far off. They are not truly 10cm and they cause me to itch as well as leave red marks on my boobs from the thicker edges. I've ditched these and ordered some local handmade ones I had with my first baby. I wanted to love these after hearing some positive reviews and was happy to see them on Amazon. Definitely would not recommend, don't waste your money. I guess at the very least they can be used as makeup removers.
