Don’t spend more, get this!
I was concerned about this light due to the price, but after reading the reviews I pulled the trigger on it. I was thoroughly impressed with the functionality of this light, it will easily pick up animal eyes at night at over 300 yards away, and brightly light up a target from 100-200 yards, plenty of distance to avoid detection and make a good shot. The flood option is very wide and lights up about the same width as car headlights, and the zoom is extremely effective at long range. I used the light for 5 hours straight with no dimming, on 1 of the 2 included 18650 batteries, and was able to spot every animal near me with ease. It clamps to the scope pretty tight, but I would recommend using the included rail mount if possible. All in all, extremely satisfied with this purchase, and I would highly recommend to any night hunter, the value is unbeatable!

Fun
Just wanted a simple light for my ruger 10/22 so i could address any raccoon, snake, etc at night. Realistically the reach on this will be about 100-150 yrds but that’s plenty. I was hesitant about the pressure switch but ive been test cycling it on and off at least one a week since I bought it and everytime it lights up with no issues. It does come with a regular switch back. The best way to describe it is fun. It lights up the whole front yard if i want it to or focuses all the light to a small spot off in the distance. It was described perfectly as a “ poor man’s night vision” i can see everything clearly through the scope using the light. I have it mounted to the top of the scope with the plastic clamp and its solid enough. Don’t expect it not to eventually move around with this method. The clamp wasn’t designed for anything more than just holding the light and it does that well. A more permanent mount is provided but you’ll need pic rail realistate to use it. Im using the rechargable battery and its working well but not sure how long it lasts. Im completely happy so far. Great father’s day gift

It's a good value
What's good: I've only had this a couple days but the quality seems to be pretty good. The scope mount is sturdy and attaches quickly to your scope. The light is bright. Not 350 yards bright but 100-150 yards bright. I think somewhere in the interpretation they came up with 350 yards and it should be 350 FEET. At this distance it's more than adequate. Getting two batteries and an adaptor for 3 AAAs is nice too. The charger seems to work well. I didn't use the pressure (remote) switch so I can't comment on that. The little plastic case is ok. Not the best quality but it will do the job. What's just ok: The advertised distance of 350 yards just isn't accurate. I don't need a light to go that far so it will work for me but they should be honest and tell you what's practical. I'd never take a shot at something in the dark at that distance with this light. The light doesn't exactly line up with the line of sight of the scope. You can fix this by putting a layer of electrical tape around your scope tube (to protect it) then use about a quarter inch wide mole skin to shim the back of the mount. I had to lower the front of the flashlight and move it to the left slightly. So, I put about an inch long 1/4 in wide piece of mole skin on the top and right side of the scope then mounted the flashlight. Worked for me. The flashlight is now canted slightly down and to the left which aligned it with my scopes line of sight. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because this light is not as strong as advertised. It's fine for what I need and everything seems to work pretty well so I think it's a good buy as long as you don't need a light that goes much farther than 150 yards.

Great for pig hunting from a blind
Bought this for night time pig hunting from a blind. Feeder is 60 yds from my blind. Light goes on a small tripod on top of the blind and zoomed to cover 15 yds on either side of the feeder. Scope is a Vortex Diamondback 3-9x 40mm. With this set-up, I don't need night vision equipment. Pigs and other critters don't notice the light. I turn it on at sundown and stay 2-3 hours after dark. Light is still bright when I'm done. Light is on top of the blind for two reasons. 1, less trouble with mosquitoes. 2, keeps the flash caused by a moth flying close to the light from lighting up my entire blind. The reflection off their wings is about like a camera flash. On top of the blind, it goes up instead and doesn't scare off the critters. Had a problem with the regular switch. Contacted seller and they are sending a replacement. 5 stars for VASTFIRE DIRECT, too. I haven't used the pressure switch.

Good for the price, a beginners light, not an upgrade.
It's a solid light. My friend has the "American Hunter" light and it's 250 lumens. His has worked well for me on hog hunts. This is not as bright I'd say it's 175 Lumens, not drastically less, but noticeable. It took longer to site the animal bc I couldn't see it as well. It's also 1/4 the price. I would buy again, but you can spend $60 or $70 I could get some pretty solid lights on clearance from big name websites. I'm on the fence about upgarding. At $25 this is a good buy. Time will tell how waterproof, or the quality is. I also like that it has momentary switch for quick looks and another button for solid on. The low profile is nice, my red/green dot is just a mm or two above the light vs a larger/brighter lights' lense. This way both of mine can be at a 45 deg to my scope and then my laser is even lower at 90 deg to the scope, so it all works perfect for me. I guess you can't add pictures to reviews anymore - 4/2020

Compact, powerful little torch.
Bought this, having read previous reviews. I was impressed by it's small size, the brightness of the light (I bought the green one), and it's beam size. I purchased to fit onto my air rifle to do some 'rat hunting' in my back garden. Living in the country we don't have to worry to much about the neighbours but I was impressed with it's build quality. I haven't used the remote switch yet but for what I require in a limited environment, it's more than adequate. I like it and based on my experience so far, would recommend it. Not sure what 'genuine' hunters would think of it but for small scale stuff, I think it's just the job. The price is very reasonable aswell I thought.

Really bright light.
Order arrived when stated and packed well. The light itself is extremely bright and the zoom is great, it feels solid and of good quality, the extras that come with it such as mounts and pressure switch all do there job. The battery charger seems very flimsy which is a shame as my concern is it won't last long but it works up to now, my 4 star rating is because one of the spare batteries that come with it is a dud it won't charge so renders it useless as a spare, over all the light itself is ultra bright and mounts are good to. Would I buy it again,,, for the price yes as it's very powerful and it does what I need it to do.
