I REALLY like this brush set and carrying case, and was pleased at the fair price for the quality of these brushes... when purchasing from 'Brush Artistry'....Let me explain...For those interested in 'comparison' shopping, I recently decided to try a different vendor for purchasing what appeared to be brushes of a similar (or identical) quality, and did make the purchase to evaluate the "difference" in the two sets - which looked the same but were being sold by different vendors here on Amazon for two different prices. To my dismay, the 'other' vendor (known as 'Plain Box Products, Ltd.') sent me the EXACT same paint brush set and roll up carry case as what 'Brush Artistry' sells right here; the difference being that 'Plain Box Products, Ltd'. had inflated their price by roughly $8.00 for the same IDENTICAL product! Yes they are identical!I ordered both of these sets from Amazon, so I can tell you with absolute certainty that 'Brush Artistry' IS the vendor you want to order from if you are interested in this paint brush set without unnecessarily lightening your wallet. The ONLY difference between the 'Brush Artistry' set and 'Plain Box Products, Ltd'. set, is that the latter vendor will charge you around $8 MORE for the same identical product, promise you a 'bonus' (for 'cleaning and caring for your brushes' that I never received with my order) and lighten your wallet...all for the EXACT same product!So THANK YOU 'Brush Artistry'! You have provided a quality product of value in this paint brush set, at an excellent price point for the astute consumer. I appreciate integrity of vendors when shopping here on Amazon (and I LOVE Amazon shopping!) So having said that, I will definitely be looking to 'Brush Artistry' first for any future art purchases. This is a pretty good set, I would put it in the middle of the road between cheap and best quality brushes. Its great for everyday use and I have used them to complete some beautiful acrylic and watercolor paintings. There is a wide range of brush types and the case is handy though I wish it had loops of some kind so I could hang them on the wall near my easel for easy access. A great set for a beginner who may not have a big budget for brushes. I think this is a good buy. I have had them for several months now and have been happy with the purchase.

For context: I paint in acrylic, watercolor, and oil as a professional and for personal enjoyment.• Shipping: right on time and packaged well. No damage to contents and easy to open.• Quality: the brushes are well constructed and materials of good quality. None of the brush heads are loose and after months of use they are still in great shape. The canvas sachet is also great, and transporting these is made easy. It's sturdy and washable.• Materials: the taklon, sable, and other materials are all up to par with quality brushes I have bought at considerably higher ticket prices individually.Overall: great purchase for the beginner or pro on a dime!

I like the variety of brushes a lot. After receiving these, I washed them all as instructed from the shipper. I've used them several times and continue to have bristles fall out occasionally. All i all, I'd give it 4 stars.Aside from the bristles, a good set. Definitely would buy again.

Comes with the nice canvas roll up holder. Brushes feel good in your hand. Unfortunately, they didn't help with my talent level but they certainly do the trick for painting. Nice for kids as well to have a little bit of fun!

If you break them in and condition them they are great. Look up brush care when you get them in. Had a little fallout with them but they are still really great.

The tip fell off a brush already. I wasn't expecting that so soon.They'll last a little while I guess. So cheap I can just buy another set

Not all the brushes in this kit are very good quality. I am an art teacher. The ones in the middle of the picture are even cheaper than we can order at my school. They do not paint well and are clearly not of any use to a professional.
