PowerSave Energy Saving LED PIR Motion Sensor Bulkhead Light with Manual Override 6400k Daylight

I bought this light to lighten a dark corner on the front of the house , having read that it was operable up to 12 mtrs i found that was closer to 16 mtrs. Angling the light down slightly, stopped the traffic on the road switching the light on . I'm quite happy with the purchase the light gives good illumination. The light arrived 2 days before the due date so i wouldn't hesitate in ordering from this company again.

Very bright. It's a 'cool white' which, in practice, means white rather than the usual yellow tinge. The timing instructions are completely wrong. They state something like 15 seconds to 4 minutes so you turn the dial half way expecting about two minutes and once triggered the light stays on for about fifteen minutes. Apart from that, an excellent light.

Overall I am pleased with this product, it works well and give a nice light.Bit disappointed with the manual override - which was the main reason I bought it. My old light had a manual override which meant that when using an internal light switch - to switch it on and leave it on, you simply switched the light switch to the on position. With this light, you have to do some weird thing of switching it on and off several times (I havent quite worked it out) in order for it to stay on which is not quite what I was expecting.

Easy to install and the light it gives out is amazing! Lights half the street! Very responsive an even triggers when people walk past on the other side of the road. Worth the extra over one that takes a standard bulb.

Oddly, the instructions insist that the item is earthed although there is no earth wire. The outer cover is completely plastic. Other than that it is working well with a bit of trial and error.

I needed the convenience of a PIR-activated light in an outhouse, hence the lack of a star assessment for 'Weatherproof'. It was very easy to install and works a treat. Well, it did for a year or so but has now decided to stay on all the time in dull/dark conditions. I've tried adjusting the settings, including turning off at the circuit breaker for more than 10 seconds, according to the instructions, but the light comes on again almost immediately (observed from a remote location). I'm beginning to think that an uncurable fault has developed.

used it to replaced an old security light, it makes our security feel that much better.

The pir did not adjust well with very little flexibility to stop passing vehicles or people triggering it off. Left to right about 15 degrees and virtually no adjustment up and down, assume this is the maximum or is it faulty?
