ZTE Max XL 16GB - Prepaid - Carrier Locked (Boost Mobile)

Not a good investment. I had problems at first with the volume... People had difficulty hearing me. I also had difficulty hearing when I used the speaker. But I figured I could live with that. Later I couldn't hear the phone ring when I received a call, nor did I receive a notification when I received a text. Sometimes the phone vibrated when there was an incoming call. The last straw was when the phone continued to vibrate after getting a missed call. I tried to power off the phone to stop the vibration. But later when I was ready to power up the phone it would not come on.! As often as I tried. I asked a Boost representative about the phone and he said that he'd received several complaints and requests for exchanges and returns. He said he no longer sales the ZTE Max XL due to the complaints. I just missed the cut off date for a return and I had to buy another phone and I lost money on a phone that I only had for a little over a month.. I really liked the large screen thou.

I bought this phone about 2 months ago and let me tell you the phone is good fast great screen resolution but it overheats alot anytime I try to recharge it it overheats and the screen turn black for no reason

I decided to take a chance on this phone even after reading the poor reviews and it worked great!.... for like a week. It slowed down, it says I have unread messages all the time, when I don't, and it has zero memory. I only have about 10 apps on my phone and I can't download anymore. Plus I have trouble opening the apps I have. I have to restart my phone everyday to get the apps to work. Try another phone. The Zte elite is awesome!! This one not so much

Ideal phone for a 7-10 year old .lags, freezes and doesnt work as the othersI purchased this phone based on the youtube reviews for affordable phones.This will be an excellent phone to make calls,messenger,whatsap,video on youtube but,if you are looking for performing? No way.3 apps open and starts acting crazy now and then, the screen is big but the camera quality is deplorable.. The processor is slow quite a bit always . I have used snapdragon processors before but I may avoid them from now on. Go get a poco f1 if you want a good purchase.

A couple problems I've encountered through out the months of owning this phone is YouTube videos sometimes flicker or have to restart the app a lot, editing 1080p videos in Instagram won't playback to review during edit, you will be limited to memory, apps won't transfer over to the SD card, and phone call quality is a bit on the poor side. You will basically get what you pay for. I honestly wouldn't recommend this phone, but if you're on a tight budget then go for it. I'd save up for a better phone.

I've liked this phone but it got wet and the touch screen does not respond hopefully I can get it fixed I bought this sometime ago and still have it hoping to put a new screen replacement..

Hesitated to switch because I had had my LG Stylo 2 for 3 years and my LG Stylo for 2 years. I needed to stay with a bigger screen for my eyes and was hoping for a better camera. I know this is only .2 inches bigger, but it seems to make a big difference. And the camera is way better (I do a lot of zooming), I would recommend the phone. Thanks ZTE

This phone is one of the best phones I have ever owned. It's 6 " display is very nice. It hasn't given me any problems. Phone runs very smooth and you tube at 1080p is not blacking out like others have said. So I assume boost have resolved that problem. Would I buy this phone again. YES.
