8-inch LED Recessed Retrofit Downlight, 30w, 3000k, 2400 lumens, Warm White, Round Lens, ETL listed, EnergyStar, Dimmable

My living room is lit up like its day! These lights are the perfect 4000k hue. Not too blue and not too yellow. They are easy on the eyes and dim down to a nice glow on a digital dimmer. The tilt and turn adjustment is smooth and easy to accomplish as they are installed. I had one light that the spring had fallen off inside the package, easy to slip back on and no problem.

These lights look fine until you turn them on. You'll be very disappointed if you are expecting a 'warm' color of light from these 3000K lights. There is no way they are 3000K. All of my other LEDs are either 2700K or 3000K and these seem like they are 4000K (much bluer). These are part of a circuit with a bunch of lights, most of which aren't gimbal or this brand, and the 3 gimbal ones I have stand out like a sore thumb due to the light color. I wouldn't buy them again.

everything worked well. 3000K was the the right color for the kitchen, the install went well and the lights are very bright (put them on a dimmer)

Installation of these lights is literally as easy as screwing in a new light bulb. I remove the old CFL bulb and the canister, and pop in these new LED lights. It took me less than 15 minutes to replace and install 4 of these lights. The lights are so bright that my wife is asking me to install a dimmer switch. They are right at 5K. I highly recommend these LED lights.

OK, lets start with the fact I ordered 5000K and received 3000K. I actually ordered two of these, one came correct and the other not. That was a pain, but I will never ding a product review for a shipping error.As for the product itself, they work perfectly and the angle of adjustment to point the focus of the light is decent enough. I am not sure is these actually output 120W though. This is purely my perspective, but they don't seem much brighter than the 75W 5000K LEDs I have. Also, I only paid about 8.00 for the 75W LEDs as opposed to 17.00 for these. But after looking around, these seem to be reasonably priced gimble LEDs.So taking all that into consideration, the product works as designed and I would probably buy them again. Value wise, if you can do without the gimble feature, a less expensive choice would be fine.

update 9-29-17 seller offered to exchange all (22) of these with another brand they sell. lights were a little less lumens but with the different type diffuse on the led can tell a difference. seller stands behind what they sell and made it right though customer satifaction.update 8-25-17. 2 more went out today this is 4 in 1 month. they are junk i don't know what else to say. customer service has been top notch but the product is crap.moved up to 3 stars customer service sent me a non generic message and offered to swap all the lights out to the new design but only offered in 3k & 5k so having to stick with the old 4k design due to its 4k all through the house.lights are nice and bright. consistent in color temp. had 3 defective out of 20. customer service is great shot them a message and they sent me a replacement. update its been 10 months and have replaced 6 of these. Getting to be a pain due to the fact i have to use a 10 foot ladder to reach them. not sure why just get the same generic customer response email. These don't last already had 2 go out in 1 week of each other.

So happy with the purchase. Perfect daylight spectrum. So much brighter than previous can lights. I can actually tell what color the walls are. Previously, they looked yellow due to the warm lighting. Lights run cool and look great.

It had a very loud buzzing sound when it was on. My switch was Lutron dimmer. Also the dimming range was very limited. I was going to use it in the bathroom. When I take a hot bath, I want the light to be dimmed. I have 5 lights in a small bathroom and it was too bright when set to be at the weakest.
