They are, indeed blunt fill needles. I used one, attached it to my BD syringe, drew up my medication, then I swapped back over to a sharp needle for injection. They are indeed blunt, and there are definitely enough needles in the package to be 100 and they are all in their own sealed pouches as expected. I am satisfied. I only wish I could get them in 1.5 inch size so I wouldn't have to invert my vials when they run low. I will update my review if anything else happens. Hopefully not.Pro tip: to reduce the risk of vial coring, use a sharp needle when you first puncture a new medicine vial.

These needles are meant for filling a syringe with medication, then they should be switched out to a sharp needle for injection.For some reason, there are reviewers for this product complaining that the product is “painful” and they wish it was more “sharp”. This is labeled a “blunt fill” needle. Blunt being the opposite of sharp, and fill (in this context) being the opposite of inject. Don’t hurt yourself, people.

I really don't think this product deserves a 1 star, it seems like a decent product, but I don't know another way to make this post visible. People always read the 1 stars. BD is a great company and I'm sure these are perfect for whatever syringe that they were made for. However, if you were prescribed BD Integra Syringes they are not compatible. They are missing the threads and gasket necessary to create a sealed fit with the syringe body. It seems that they were designed for a smaller bodied BD brand syringe. Once again, this is, no doubt, a quality product, but it will not fit Integra syringes.
