Smartyou Personalized Dog Collar, Engraved Metal Buckle Collar for Dog Name & Phone Number with Fully Adjustable Sizes XS/S/M/L/XL

I have to start the review by saying the collar came quickly (even faster than predicted on amazon) and it looks AMAZING. The colors are bold without being garish and the engraving on the buckle is very easily legible and looks very high end. The size was exactly right and easy to adjust. The reason I wanted this collar was to cut down on some of the jingle jangle of our dog's tag hanging from his collar. Even though he's microchipped, we feel better having our phone numbers on him at all time just in case he manages to somehow get out of our fence. Unfortunately, as great as it looks, this option is just as noisy. The buckle itself is all metal and it clicks and clanks away at every step and hop. I won't be sending it back because it does look so great. We'll probably just save it for times we're traveling or out and about and want him to look particularly smart. However, I will continue to search for a quieter option.

This is a beautiful collar. It is sturdy and very well made. I didn't want to listen to dog tags and this was my solution. I am very pleased with this product. I bought it for a small dog but I am sure it would have been sturdy and pretty enough for my Corgi's to wear. If he outgrows this I will get another one.

We have had this collar for a few months now for our Bluetick Coonhound (of course we got the orange gingham one). I was concerned for a while that if the buckle got wet that it would rust overtime, but that has yet to happen (it’s scratched a lot, but that’s to be expected). My biggest complaint is that the collar gets very loose (there are no holes to keep it in place) and there have been several times we have used it where our dog has escaped his collar on the leash or got it lost in the yard because it loosened up enough to fall off. This might be due to his breed though too so I would recommend it for a smaller dog or not using it with a leash for a larger dog.

Let me just start with the fact that the quality of the buckle and the engraving are excellent. Unfortunately, the collar has not held up very well for our puppy. I’m disappointed because we are already going to have to replace it and I genuinely loved this style. The ribbon (blue/green on our’s) that is stitched on top of the (khaki) fabric has held up just fine; the khaki fabric is the problem. It has curled up and rolled in the center so that it just looks like rope. The edges are starting to pull and come apart in the center where is has started rolling. Also, we found we had to repeatedly re-tighten the collar throughout the day, because it just would not hold the width we’d adjusted it to. It would make a great gift for a pup that has multiple collars that they rotate (is that a thing?). It’s just not good for everyday wear.

My only qualm is that I worry if the buckle might be uncomfortable as my dog scratches her neck a lot more now, but I really like the finished result of the engraving. The product looks exactly like the photo and the quality is fantastic for the price.

The only thing that I don't like is that the ring is located too close to the buckle, and when my dog walks his rabies tag hits the buckle and makes noise. My dog sounds like a reindeer with jingle bells. If you could move the ring a little bit away from the buckle it would be great!

Collar looked good and was as described and customized right but the buckle scratched easily after just a couple weeks. It is our less active and older dog so we aren't even sure how it got so scratched this quick.

We LOVE this collar. It's the only collar that our Anna hasn't been able to break through. It's beautiful and has her name and our phone number on it so between that and her microchip, I feel confident that if she ever gets lost we will find her. I would highly highly recommend.
