Pros: Pretty easy to build. I did it by myself.I like the color. Its is a glossy black.No creaking. I like the height of the bed as well.Cons: I was unable to screw in all of the slats for the base. I think there are 2 screws that I was unable to screw in. It seemed that the holes were a little off. Not too big of a deal. The weight of the mattress keeps the bars in place.The paint seems to have scratched off in a couple places, even though it was packaged well. Must have happened before packaging. Not a big deal though. Black is easy to touch up with a sharpie.

I'm very happy with this bed. It is well made and has a very sturdy construction. It does not creak with movement. It took me about 2 hours to put it together, but I was alone and working in a very tight space. It would be much easier with one person to hold the pieces in place while the other does the screwing. (That's what she said!) The instructions were easy to follow and every part was clearly labeled. Best furniture self-assembly I've done. Great value.

Great bed frame seems slightly flimsy and it took me like an hour and a half to two hours to build it. Not really sure why it took so long since I read other people’s reviews that they put it together in 45 mins. I made the mistake of holding it at the mailing center, carrying that thing back home took me forever due to how heavy it was always have this delivered to the house!!!

Arrived on time and very happy with shipping.It will take about 45mins to an hour to put together. Everything you need is included. No tools needed. Two people can work on it but only one is needed.When put together the frame is sturdy and does the job well. I can't say anything bad about this, it's a bed frame and I'm happy with it. The only criticism I have is I wish the headboard were larger. The bed fits but with a boxspring and queen sized mattress there's not much head board. Only about ten inches over the mattress. That's not a problem though. It's a very good frame.

Wonderful bed especially for the price. Easy to put together, I did it by myself and I was eight months pregnant at the time.My only complaint is that while screwing on one of the decorative topper ball things, It stripped and now it's loose and crooked.

Love this bed! All the parts were clearly marked and the screws were all in separate zip bags which were also marked! I was able to put it together by myself - and I am able to use without a box spring and it is sturdy with plenty of room underneath for storage.

Item was well packaged. The assembly instructions were photocopies and hard to read. The headboard and footboard are only mounted with 2 bolts each instead of the 4 bolts I'm used to but it is holding up so far.

HARD to assemble. Many, many pieces. For an experienced “assembler” like myself, I expected 30 minutes or less to assemble. 2.5 hours, due to the sheer number of parts. Tho...very sturdy and perfect for what we needed
