Great quality!
I bought this for my dad for a Christmas present, he has informed me that it is his new favorite way to bring his lunch to work and that it’s easy to clean. The canvas bag seems like it is well-made.

Larger than I thought.
I bought this for my daughter to use as a snack bag for school. It turns out it’s very roomy and holds a lot. There’s so much room in it, we passed it on to my husband to use as a lunch bag.

Works for Me
I read the reviews of how people thought it worked and how it didn't. I tend to believe the marginal reviews more than the outliers, but going by all the options out there, this is the one I chose. I believe I chose wisely.Close up, the bag looks like canvas, but from only a slight stance back, it looks like a classic brown paper bag. It's simple and nothing flashy about it - which is my style. The canvas is sturdy, I can see where others thought maybe a bit too much, but actually, it's fine.I did not have the issues others had about not being able to roll it down far enough. That was fine, though I suppose it might matter what one packs. I never have bottles of liquid in there, so that's not an issue, but it holds a decent sized plastic container of food - and it fits neatly onto the bottom. Add fruit, cut veggies or chips in there, and you have more than enough space. The canvas is also thick enough that in a common employee refrig, the sometimes overpower smells do not penetrate your packed meal. Totally worth the price.

Heavy duty and built to last
You could fill this lunch bag with a sandwich and fruit...or nails. This thing is built like a gunny sack with reinforced stitching and some incredibly heavy duty canvas. I bought this to replace a ripstop nylon lunch bag that was lost in the Denver airport. I'm a little bummed it doesn't fold down as compactly as my old nylon bag did, but I do feel better about it being all natural fibers. If I toss this in the clothes washer, I can feel good about not adding microfibers to wastewater heading out to see. I haven't had anything wet spill inside this yet, so I don't really know how well that beeswax treatment works. I do wonder, however, how fast this thing will dry if I spot clean it with water when out someplace. I worry the heaviness of the cotton might make it slow drying. Overall a really well-constructed bag. I'm glad I got it.
