→ Audio quality is surprisingly good. It has a little condenser that isn't too shabby. At all video settings the audio quality is identical @ 512 kb/s.→ It must be said that the packaging is top notch. They care about the details.→ My only gripe is also one of my favorite things about it. Every time it starts recording, a really cute voice comes on and says "start recording". I'm going to say it is the voice of a beautiful Korean woman in her mid 20's. That's probably wrong about the dialect, but crawl in my brain come back out and tell me I'm wrong.→ The little remote takes screenshots and if you hold the button it "locks" videos from being overwritten, but really it's a pretty silly feature--if you have an incident, turn the cam off after so you definitely don't lose the video.***Some hot tips:→ Most importantly, set this thing to WVGA, which is 848x480 (same ratio at 1080). The files are ~32MB per minute. You can set it to a higher resolution, but the quality is IDENTICAL and you'll just get less recording time and you'll make the DVR processor work harder and more likely to have corrupt files or stop recording due to error. So unless you are going to review your film for a studio audience on a projector, there is no point in setting it to 1080p. The reason this cam is a great deal is because it uses a decent lens for how cheap it is.MORE TIPS:(1) This is slow, but sometimes more convenient: to download videos from cam via windows laptop, connect to the cams wifi, then go here: 192.168.1.254/CARDV/MOVIE(2) to view the cam from windows 10 pc, download IPCam Monitor from Golden Pot from windows store, then add a generic HD cam, with hostname 192.168.1.254 ; port 554 ; and it should work. There are other ways to do this without annoying ads, but this is the easiest I've found.(3) On iphone, turn on airplane mode, then connect to the cam's wifi and it works better. The android app is less finicky about using airplay mode. Also on iphone, I believe you turn off audio recording by toggling the "Record" setting.(4) Keeping WDR toggle ON in app should perform better in low light, FYI.

When you startup the engine it shouts out this weird accented "HELLO MINI START RECORDING".It was novel the first time round, then it becomes just really irritating. And there's absolutely no way to turn it off.The camera runs hot even in cold weather, I'm not sure how it's going to survive summer.The Timacam app is pure garbage and unusable. First it asks to access media files. Sounds good. Then it asks to manage phone calls. Why? I will never know. And it won't let you do shit if you don't let it access your phone calls.After allowing all the permissions to the app against better judgement, attempting to connect to the cam is just a nightmare. It acts as a WiFi hotspot and you connect with password 12345678. The recording image appears on my phone for a split second, then the app crashes. It no longer connects again after that. Reinstalling of the app, clearing cache, wiping the SD card and connecting again does nothing. It just refuses to connect.All this time it just keeps shouting "HELLO MINI START RECORDING! STOP RECORDING!" Seriously STFU.Image quality and sound recording are decent but nothing to boast about. Overall, severe buyer remorse.Get the Yi cam instead, I have that on my other car and it's great. App just works. Would've gotten that if it was still in stock.

This Dash Cam is very small, light weight and good quality for the great price. In order to use it, I bought a SanDisk Extreme PLUS 32GB ( doesn’t come with Micro Card). The quality of the video is excellent while driving. The Apps is helpful. I can easily download the records to my phone and delete the records from the Apps. Love it.

My car was right in front of two cars crashed on the highway two weeks ago. I realized I need an auto camera to record what happened if my car contacted the two cars crashed ahead. With that in mind, I searched for a dash cam on line which is affordable and useful for me. This dash fits into my budget and it functions well. I am excited with this dash cam. It is small, light, and easy to use. The video image is clear with a full view. The camera eye can be adjusted to 360 degrees, which can be used to record the front as well as the rear. So far, I am very satisfied with this small gadget.

This dash cam is everything most people need from a dash cam. It has excellent video quality and has some great features such as park mode and the ability to wave your hand underneath the camera to capture a custom 10 second clip. It’s extremely easy and useful to connnect to the cam via WiFi, then using the app, to view and download videos saved to the camera.I did hardware my camera as well, giving it a clean install and virtually invisible behind my rear view mirror.

It shows pretty clear and wide. I like the size of it.

The device itself is not bad. He has a great picture. But the app is very bad. Practically does not work with the phone (android). Check or watch on the phone record is impossible. For such a camera, the price is very high. I would give no more than 20 dollars. I also like that it is almost not visible on the glass. But I will not take something like that anymore.

We purchased a second one for our other car and it's horrible. It keeps cutting off and on every couple of minutes and that annoying mouse voice drives us nuts.
