I definitely enjoy these. To anyone picky, complaining about texture, what do you expect with primary ingredients of grass fed collagen and whey. The ingredients are quality, and I like the taste and chew. I do wish there was less salt or none added. I'm not looking for a serving of sodium with my protein bar. I want to get other flavors than cacao, however the extra sodium is very unappealing and unnecessary. Overall I appreciate these bars, but I have no plans of buying at full price and will only consider them on sale.

The cacao prima protein bars are by far the cleanest yet. Although they do have honey, the cacoa are the least sweet. If you don’t like a greasy tallow bar, put them in the refridge. There’s many options, if the grease gets on youre hands, just rub it in. It acts as a moisturizer. The only negative, is sometimes you will bit into a cacoa chip that’s to hard to chew. I hope the company rectifies this. If you like cacao, you’ll have to control yourself. And yes they have a different consistency then every other bars that prima sells.

I want to give these bars a 5 star review, because the ones we ordered direct from the company were delicious. I think they sent their failed batches to Amazon. The ones we received from Amazon are not edible. They are hard, slimy and taste nasty. I have another order on the way from the company because we like the Cacao ones, I'm hoping they will be good! The picture is with the good batch on the left and the ones from Amazon on the right. Obviously something wrong with the ones from Amazon.

Tastes amazing and great for a healthy dessert! I like to heat them up for a few seconds in the microwave before enjoying. The only down side is the cacao pieces are hard to chew.

I wanted to love these bars so much! The ingredient list is wonderful and I want to support this company for going against the grain and making a protein bar with quality ingredients that is actually good for you. Thank you so much for doing this, Prima! But at the same time, I have to be honest and say that I don't plan to purchase these again. I bought the cacao flavor, and let me tell you -- they are indeed delicious -- however, they are so. hard. to. chew. This is the feedback from myself, my husband, and even my oldest teen. Just to break off a bite, I found myself having to gnaw on it with my back molars, kind of like a dog chews on a bone. Afterwards, because it sticks all over my mouth and teeth, I had to really clean myself up before talking to anyone. And I live in Houston, y'all. It isn't hard to chew because of the cold. I am super picky about clean ingredients, but even so, I'm going to have to pass on this. Please, Prima, please figure out the problem and make another clean protein bar that is easier to consume!

I am very cautious when it comes to protein bars because I have a nut allergy and the few nut free ones taste like I'm eating chalk. This one tastes so good. I could eat it all day. I really like the cacao flavor. It is like eating a chocolate bar. It is not hard or dry. It Doesn't give that chalky taste most bars give off. The honey in it makes it a little sweet. It has clean ingredients. It uses grass fed animal protein. It is great source of protein if you are in a time crunch or post workout snack. I will definitely being buying again!

Finally! I am so careful with everything I eat and I am happy to say that I love every ingredient in these bars. I got the Cacao flavor and it’s delicious. I could see how some people think it is a little dry but that did not bother me. The reason other bars taste so good is because they have sketchy ingredients. I liked the texture and the taste. I feel good after eating them and I’m super excited to have a healthy and to take on the go.

I really wanted to like these since I’ve had many different protein bars that didn’t have clean ingredients. The protein content was good, the tallow does leave the bar greasy in the wrapper however the bar is very dry and has a weird taste and texture. The coconut in it gives a rancid after taste. The clean ingredients are good but it wasn’t executed very well. Maybe they need to reformulate this but I will not buy this again. I would rather go with another brand. It’s true from the other reviews you either love them or hate them. I don’t like it.
