Review :P
The Japanese vocabulary cards had much more useful information on them than I had expected. It not only shows the word and how to say it, but it includes the kanji and a few sample sentences it can be used in. I do admit that I was kind of disappointed that furigana was included, but I suppose that can prove useful to people who can't read in hiragana. Overall, a very good product that I would highly reccomend for anyone learning Japanese.

Disappointing
Cards are really small about 3.5" x 1.5" tye type is really small and hard to read. Cards aren't laminated.

Well, I agree and I disagree . . . .
I just got these little cards, and, since I don't yet know the kanji, I really don't (yet) care what the Kanji look like. Probably I will someday. On the other hand, it's true, it's a great price for 1000 vocabulary cards! I like that each card shows not just the meaning of the word, but several ways that the word can be used, or several Japanese words for a given English word. What I find to be a problem is the order. Yes, it is true that in some ways it doesn't matter what order the cards are in. They come in English meaning alphabetical order, and they are numbered in that order as well. But it depends how you are trying to use the cards. If you're trying to learn random words, these cards are great. If you need to learn, say, a certain specific group of verbs that week, they are a lot harder to use. Finding the card for a specific Japanese word in a box of 1000 cards by looking for the English definition is not easy, especially since a given Japanese word can be defined using several different possible English words, not all necessarily beginning with the same letter. If you need to learn a certain group of words in a set amount of time, I suggest some of the smaller card sets that are sold that organize the cards by category: verbs, adjectives, days of the week, counters, colors, and so on.So if you want to use these cards, use them as a couple of the previous reviewers suggested: grab about 20 cards at a time, in whatever order, and just use the cards to increase your overall store of Japanese vocabulary. Over time, you can learn a lot of new vocabulary, and it does save a lot of writing!

Not recommended
One side in romaji, another side in English. No kanji, no hiragana, no katakana. It is difficult for learning purpose. No explanation on grammar nor in vocabs. Not for beginner. Not really worth USD 15.00.

I help a friend with her English and these are very helpful. My only complaint is that they can be very expensive and I don't really know why they would be. I had to buy used.
