Yost Tools 13000-HD Bar Clamps

This clamp is okay. It is well designed and operates smoothly, but I seriously doubt it's capabilities. The racheting mechanism is tiny and the bar is pretty wimpy.The unit just doesn't feel really solid like my DeWalt and Irwin brand clamps do. I thought I'd try these considering how much less expensive they are, but I don't think I'll buy anymore. To be fair, they have a heavy duty series of these clamps and those look great, maybe I'll try them.Overall I think these are well designed, but a bit to close to harbor freight quality for my liking. Will give 4 stars because they do work fine and are an inexpensive option compared to other established brands.**Update: I looked at it a little more closely and I think the bar is the same as my mini DeWalt clamps. The DeWalt clamps 12" and longer have a much heavier bar. The clamp was fine for holding things in place, but not much help for a large glue up.

My boyfriend asked me for a set of these types of clamps for Xmas. So I ordered 2 of these clamps, an 18” and a 24”. The 18” metal bar was actually slightly bent. That was the least of the problems though. He opened the 24” clamp and when he picked it up out of the box, it literally just fell apart! The sides came off the blue area and a spring popped out! I felt like an idiot on Xmas morning! Save your money! You get what you pay for!

It's not really that solid. If you were to clamp two boards together with this and start hammering nails into them, this thing will just slip off. So in summary, it kind of does its job but it's just not reliable.

Absolutely hate these. First time buying this brand with amazing reviews and the first thing that happens is, the plastic side piece pops off and the spring fell out. Would not recommend.

One Day one use. Not worth the hassle to even return or contact the seller. My wife was right you get what you pay for.

Well what i like was the price but what i dislike was the F-ing headache this clap gave me. Do your self a favor before you use this “clamp” duck tape it

I was not able to use it. Missing bolts that hold the end clamp. I contacted "Yost Vises" for assistance but no response. Didnt know what else to do so I returned the items. Won't buy it again. Good Luck!

Clamp opening is 6" and not the bar. Makes it very unusable for its purpose. Description should mention that for us ladies who aren't that savvy.
