Perfect evolution of an already great knife.
Having purchased the original version of this knife I had to try this one out. Now I’m a big fan of the Milwaukee fastback knives but they do tend to be a bit bulky for every day carry. As usual the build quality is wonderful on this. I purchased the carbon fiber version. I like the fact that the handle on this one is longer than the original, which was obviously needed to incorporate the bit driver. The bit driver itself takes smaller 4 mm bits, but this is no problem as I have a ton of those just laying around. I like the deployment of the bit driver as it uses a plunge lock so you can just flick it out or you can use your hand to open it. This is not necessarily as heavy duty as a Milwaukee, but it keeps all of the basics that you need in a lightweight form factor. The only thing that I miss from the Milwaukee is that you could store an extra blade on that one however that’s not really a big deal. I love how much cutting area you have available due to the blade locking mechanism. Some people don’t like how tight the little wheel can get, but seeing how as I typically have a Leatherman or some other type of tool with me I can easily tighten or loosen it. In my experience at least I have found that I don’t necessarily have to tighten it down with a tool as typically just hand tightening is enough to keep the blade in there without it rattling or coming loose. This is another wonderful tool from this company, and I plan on buying some more of these to have his back up and to give us gifts once they come back into stock out of all the utility knives I have this is probably my new favorite.

Good looking and great quality
Its the perfect utility knife honestly. size is comparable to a pocketknife and it just works great and looks good. 10/10

Awesome knife, could use standard size bits though.
I love this knife! The grip feels good, the blade opens and changes easily. User friendly, and most of all- safe! I have another one of these that’s a swivel-open style and the thing cuts meto ribbons whenever I try to open it one handed, or if I bend down while it’s in my pocket it has a tendency to swivel open. This one doesn’t. Lock holds firm.My only complaint would be that the bit socket doesn’t hold standard 1/4” sized bits. It seems they’re 3/16 or 5/32 maybe? Definitely an annoying size and I’ll have to buy another one of their tools to get the properly sized bits if I want to have a bigger phillips head on it. I know a bigger bit will mean a thicker knife, but this is a clever design so I’m sure their designer can figure out a way. This knife got it right by using standard blades in a beautiful and clever way, now if it can also have interchangeable bits, and perhaps a locking mechanism for the screwdriver at 90 degrees (and full open) so you can really torque down on some screws.

Useful and simple but comes in handy all the time!
The important part: Yes it accepts common utility knife replacement blades. Yes it accepts common 4mm precision bits.I have been carrying and using the Oknife Otacle U1 since it came out and it's been very handy. Most common I need to cut/trim something, and use a small Phillips head for adjusting items I install.Enter the Oknife U1 Pro. With a easily changeable utility blade and a bit driver, this simple tool will be very useful for me. It comes with a Phillips and Slotted bit, but accepts common 4mm precision bits though depending on the length of the shaft, may not secure into place, though still usable. I have a bunch of bits with shorter shafts and while I can still use them they aren't as secure as the more common length bits. With a replaceable blade and bit, this tool will last a long time. When the blade gets dull, just swap in a new one and it's like new knife!

Very functional and solidly made box cutter
Great folding box cutter with full edge. I’m a H.S. shop teacher and always carried a knife for odd jobs around the shop but sensibilities have changed over the years and it isn’t pc to carry a folding knife anymore. This is a great substitute as it is solidly made, utilizes the entire replaceable blade’s edge for “sawing” jobs like cutting rope and even has a handy screwdriver in the back of the handle. I’ll be buying more of these as presents for my shop teacher colleagues at other schools!

Best compact EDC Utility Knife on the Market
The original U1 was already well-regarded. In a KnifeCenter video comparison of 14 EDC utility knives, it tied for first. It was one-point shy of a perfect score because it had no extra tools.Well the U1 Pro addresses that by adding a locking 4mm bit driver. Which makes the U1 Pro the best compact EDC utility knife on the market. Yes, the Milwaukee Fastback has even more features. But it is nearly twice as heavy, and an inch longer. The pocket clip on the U1 Pro is deeper carry too.To me, the U1 Pro is perfect. It is very comfortable in the hand. Some observations:1. The action is great on the knife. On the screwdriver, I was able the thumb flick it once, but usually just a controlled open. Note: I had to oil the knife to get the action to work correctly on the screwdriver. Now it flips open and closed with the button.2. I was actually able to extend the blade by using the second top slot. There was no blade play, and the knife closed properly. I am not sure when having 98% of the blade would make a difference vs 85% of the blade, but it's possible.3. The bit is labeled PH0/SL3.5. I have this same bit from another Olight product, and the Phillips on the U1 Pro looks a touch bigger. Maybe closer to PH1. YMMV.4. My Hoto double-sided bits are the same size, and also magnetically retain in the U1 Pro.5. The Victorinox Cybertool bits are a little shorter, which allows the ball detent to engage and so they work too. I find the Victorinox bits to be a little larger than the Olight/Hoto bits. The main Vic bit is PH2/SL4, and it goes up to Torx 15 (vs T8 for Olight) and Hex 4 (vs Hex 2.5 for Olight).6. I could not shake the blade open, and I could not shake the screwdriver open. Once deployed, the blade lock up is excellent - zero blade play.7. I'll probably carry an Olight Opry as a complement to the U1 Pro in order to have access to a couple more double-sided bits. Some of the Opry models store 2 or 3 double-sided 4mm bits.
