Camelion 6 LED Plug in Rechargeable Emergency Blackout Flashlight- up to 24 Hours of Continuous Lighting (2 Count)

After almost five years of use, I can say that this is the most reliable flashlight I've ever bought ( I bought four of this brand November 10, 2018 and a lot of others in the last ten years). Use it in very dry and hot conditions in the field.

bought in 2020 - I would say don't buy - both of mine stopped working - the red light says it was charging when plugged into the wall but when I tried to turn on it does not work - several reviews of failed units... I took it apart and the battery pack was blistered and bulging - signs of a failed battery or shorted battery.... this was a bit melted - and I am glad It did not burn up.... not safe... beware.

I bought a second pair as I really like the ease of use. It's super easy to charge (just plug it into the wall - no ports, no special batteries), and I absolutely love the conventional on/off slider switch vs. pushbutton. Instructions say 10 - 12 hour charge time but mine seemed charged when they arrived. Charged them anyway.I don't know how to quantify the brightness. It's not a spotlight or police light, but for general household use it's perfect. I'd give it a 10 if I could.

I've ordered these before, good workhorse flashlight for the price. These are built cheap, feel cheap, and may break easily if dropped...but at this price point they are great flashlights for general use! Plenty bright and easy to charge and use. These are exactly what I expected, no better, no worse. I would purchase these again.

the biggest issue i have with this flashlight is that the plug-in part that's supposed to be able to be pushed back inside the flashlight when using it is FAR TOO TIGHT, & just has to be left out while in use. it really doesn't affect being able to use the flashlight however. there's just no way to switch it back & forth when in use or not in use. it's also not as bright as i'd hoped it would be either.

Like any insurance, you never know how good it is (or isn't) until you need it. Checked these flashlights today that have been plugged in for 3 years, only to find they don't even work. I should have checked these each year, but didn't. I'll stick to using the Blackout Buddy's by American Red Cross which we use at work and they are reliable.

Bleah, see update at bottom. AVOID!Purchased these to replace older non-LED plug-in flashlights. Had an occasion to use one outdoors almost immediately after purchase, and was pleased at how bright they were and how long of a throw the light had. Will likely buy more if they stand the test of time. Have only had for 3 days.*Edit* - They did not stand the test of time. 6 months later and one is completely dead, will not charge at all. Only used a few times, left plugged in charging otherwise. Meh. Will not be purchasing another.*Edit 2* - 12 months later, 100% failure rate on flashlights that only were left plugged in, as they are supposed to be used. Cheap junk, don't buy. I bought two of these for emergency and convenience use in dark engine rooms on large boats. They always work and provide ample light. The plug in feature means you don't have to deal with batteries.
