4 separated zippered pouches. 2 long and 2 short. Top of case has 2 leather faces ( I put my name one on, in Japanese) and bottom has one full leather cover to prevent punch through when carrying it with the sling. I have placed two Katanas and one bokken in mine with no problem. NOT airline safe. I worked for an airline for 30 years. This bag will not handle the punishment. Buy a piece of PVC pipe that will hold the Katana. Cap and glue one end and cap the other with locking device like a cable run through holes and pad lock. Small pouch will hold your cleaning gear

My son uses this for some of his kung fu weapons. He carries a broad sword, daggers, his water bottle and mat shoes in it. He loves all the different compartments. His only complaint is that the bag is just fabric, so it bends a little ( in turn bending his sword) when he carries the bag. That is the reason for 4 stars.

Greetings fellow martial artists. This bag is idea for those of you who need to carry more than one weapon to class every time you need to go to the dojo. I was easily able to fit 3 swords and 3 short sticks and still have all the pockets available. I could not be more pleased.

The zippers are pretty weak. I don't know if I would trust this bag with expensive swords. The smell is TERRIBLE; a little nauseating even. I'm deciding if I should drop it in somebody's septic tank to air it out, or send it back.

I love this case. It's well made and perfect for my Japanese Katana. There is only one problem. The length! I have a standard length Katana and it barely fits or this would've been a 5 stars product.

The dual pocket s are great, holds my boken, split bi staff and 40" sword.

I searched for a shinai bag. This came up. it will NOT fit a shinai.This bag will fit a bokken, but does NOT fit a shinai and hence is no good for kendoI'm new to all this so I guess some of the fault lies with me, but at the same time, the amazon website should not return this as a result to the search "shinai bag".

Pues tiene bastante buena pinta, un tamaño adecuado para dos katanas, o katan y bo, incluso con los bolsillos se puede llevar un tanto. Asa de transporte ajustable, y dos compartimentos separados. Está bastante bien para el precio que tiene.

Cumple su cometido 110cm, un poco endeble se echa de menos refuerzos en la parte baja de la funda, con el tiempo empieza a romperse por esa zona. Yo suelo colocar cartón o una pieza de plástico.La uso para guardar espada y sable.

la confeccion es buena y los bolsillos internos y externos son muy utiles, la uso para llevar la esoada en mi actividad de Tai chi
