I have only had this a day, but already we love it. There are three cuff sizes included, our Chihuahua mixes needed the smallest size (the one with the sheep on it). I purchased this one over other machines because it said it was quiet and it is correct, it does not make a sound. I knew a noisy machine would not be okay with my dogs and would scare them, so the quiet factor was essential. The machine seems to take accurate measurements and it has a lot of features like the pulse and it saves past readings. As long as this machine lasts, I am going to say this was an excellent and essential buy!

Edit: April 18 I took this monitor to the veterinarian hospital. A DVM analyzed the cuff for cats AND the monitor itself. She found several defects in the cuff size & wideness--too wide & too large. She analyzed the results of this machine compared to the professional one at the hospital. Her conclusion was that this is junk and to send it back for a refund. The results were off & all over the place, the doctor showed me each value compared to the hospital's results, the and the machine and the cuff was handled by professionals. The differences between systolic and diastolic blood pressure were significantly off. You will be wasting your money if you purchase this. You may only think it works, but did you test it at a clinic? I wasted my money which was almost $200. Worth nothing if inaccurate results. The return window is closed but the second one I got is going back. All that money thrown away!There needs to be far more serious emphasis on cat cuffs. Why does the 4 inch cuff unravel as it inflates? I checked the level of security on the cuff & there is little security in the wrap of the cuff due to chosen materials that do not hold tight. This can't be good at all & can't be a serious product. I only need cat cuffs & a monitor that works. So then nothing works if the cuff is not appropriate & does not hold. The cat cuffs are made of material that does not stick or stay put when inflation occurs. They should make this human grade, but they did not. Did they test these cat cuffs prior to selling this? Why ruin an entire monitor for poorly made cat cuffs? Therefore I cannot trust the accuracy of this equipment because the cuffs start to unravel with inflation. They unravel completely! It turns out to be money thrown away. This is a review from a paying customer. There must be more serious velcro cat cuff products on the market. They do not allow for choice in cuffs nor there is any other option than to use cuffs for this product. Fail.

It is very quiet. I do not hear any sound or any vibration during pressurization. This was the main reason I bought this particular brand because I have a very anxious dog.However, I’m getting error messages frequently usually “calculate fail” although my dog is not moving at all. She is just either sleeping or lying quietly. Or it “times out”. I would say that after several uses, error message is about 33% of the time vs 75% of the time. So this may be a user error/ learning curve and would likely continue to improve overtime as we keep using it.I do like having the sturdy storage container but unfortunately it does not accommodate for the tubing where it attaches If you leave it on. You have to remove the tubing every time you store it. So I do worry about quick wear and tear because I put it back after every use whether is multiple times a day or a couple times a week. Considering it costs 170, I do not want to have to replace the tubing often.At the end of the day, what’s important to me is it is very quiet. And when it does take a measurement, the results appear accurate. I’ve used this for at least a month now.

Product came complete as described. I found it easy to use. It is very quiet. Does not startle my dog as it inflates. So far working well.

This monitor times out every time I try to get a reading. For the money I expected more. I would return it but the window closed yesterday.

If you've used a pressure monitor on a person the same principle applies here, just that the cuff is way smaller to be able to fit on a paw of a small pet like a cat or a dog. Plus theres the benefit that you won't get bitten here. The screen is very easy to read and with the extra long hose you can set it down while attending to the pet.
