The concreate was old and hard but this item allowed me too switch between drill hamner and manually beating the handle on it with a club hammer. The item was scratched but managed to take a beating result in a successful operation all round. Therefore currently in my opinion fit for purpose and worth the money. How it will hold up long term receiving hammerings from a club or other hammer I can't say. The sds bit fitted into a standard sds plus hammer drill easily without any problems and remained secured till removal which again was easy.
