Durable and very easy to grasp!
Been buying these for a few years now because they are very durable yet easy to grasp and tie. I have arthritis in both hands so the thicker, black bags are impossible for me to grasp even with self-ties! I have cats so their litter is heavy but these bags hold it all without splitting. I feel good about using biodegradable bags as they are better for the planet.

Great bags, great value
After finally using the last of the plastic grocery bags I'd hoarded for years, I came to Amazon to find a replacement. As a newly reformed former polluter, I definitely wanted biodegradable this time. When I came across these, I thought they were too good to be true. But they arrived quickly and work perfectly. Never a leak or tear. They're also tall bags, meaning there's always plenty of bag left to knot at the top when my kitchen trash container is full. They're also super strong. And at $11.18 for 120 bags, this is an incredible value. The bags are perforated, but I find that they're a little difficult to tear from the roll. No big deal to use scissors, though. Very happy customer.

They’re ok
They are ok and they hold up well they are kind of thin but they hold up well with a lot of garbage in it. The only thing I don’t like is the perforated line to separate the bag it’s not easy to pull apart you must be careful or you will rip the bag. Other than that I have no complaints they are pretty decent bags.

Excellent 13-gallon plastic trash bags, degradable
I bought these bags as replacement 13-gallon bags when I could no longer find this standard style in the stores, which seem to sell only the flap-tie top or the drawstring top. These are the style of the old-fashioned simple plastic bags closed with a small metal twist-tie.These 120 bags come on a few large rolls (about 40 bags per roll), which is convenient. I keep one roll in the kitchen drawer and pull off one bag at a time, as needed. Perforations between bags allow easy tearing off of one bag. (Jan 3, 2016 update: the total bag count per box appears to be accurate.)These are the first bags I've used that are supposed to be degradable. During use, they seem to function just as strong as any non-degradable bag. I recycle what I can, but I still have trash on a regular basis, so I'm glad to stop putting non-degradable bags into the landfill. (These degradable bags probably degrade in sunlight in a landfill, due to the ultraviolet light.)Jan 3, 2016 update: The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that it's a little difficult to tear the bag from the roll.March 23, 2016 update: I am giving these five stars, because my one minor concern has been addressed. There is an inch or two gap in the perforations between bags, allowing an easy starting point for separating bags. So separating bags is easy, and this is an excellent product.

Sturdy bag--worth the price for a smaller footprint on the Earth!
I've used these bags for years--they are sturdy and don't rip. I use a giant ceramic crock (25 gallons) as my trashcan (my dogs were always tipping the 13 gallon plastic ones over) and the 33 gallon liner fits well (a little big) and allows me to knot the bag at the top when full. I've never had an issue with the bag tearing or ripping when pulling it out of my trashcan--and it gets pretty heavy sometimes! I highly recommend these liners and love the fact that they're biodegradable. We use them for emptying the cat litter pans as well, and never had an issue with one ripping or tearing. DO keep them out of the sun and in a dry place; my husband used one as a cover for an outdoor project for the winter, and the bag totally degraded in just a few months of being in the rain and changing temperatures. So, yes, they do really degrade! :) . The price may seem high for a trash bag, but for the quality and the fact that they biodegrade (easier on the environment), they really are a bargain compared to other brands.

Double bag sharp objects
These bags are amazing. They are large enough and wide enough to be useful. So many of the other tall kitchen bags are so narrow at the top and won't fit basic trash cans. Come on. These bags are spacious, and you can just tie them off at the top to close them up, or grab some twist ties. The best thing about them, aside from the roominess, is that they're limited life cycle, which means they do eventually break down under heat and moisture in a landfill. They last around 4 months before they begin to decompose. Trash is a major freaking problem, and this helps.
