Update: The seller contacted me almost immediately after i wrote the review. He apologized for MY misunderstanding that it was only one cover and explained why the product was alittle more $. The seller kindly offered to send me another plate cover for my troubles. I didn't expect him to do that when it was actually my fault for not reading what I was buying carefully. As far as the plate that I have had on my vehicle the last couple weeks; it looks great and seems to be holding up as expected. I am bumping up my stars to 5 since the seller was quick to reconcile.I’m alittle irritated that I didn’t read it was only 1 plate cover. Most vehicles need two for their front and back license plates. I don’t think the quality matches the price of it. Over $40 for plate covers, humm. The $20 something for two, sounds more like it.

I've read some of the other reviews about the screw caps cracking or breaking; that didn't happen with me. Just pressed with my thumb and they snapped on. That said, they do seem to fit snugly on top of the screws and, admittedly, they do seem a little fragile, so I'm actually more worried about when I decide to take them off again that they might crack or break.Overall, the frame itself is OK. Installation took a bit of time, mostly because of the fragility of the parts. I felt like I could have snapped the whole frame had I put too much pressure on anything. At the very least, it felt thin and light enough to bend while installing. It came with sticky foam pads to place behind your license plate to help stop potential rattling, which was nice. Also came with a variety of screw types to choose from, including the anti-theft screws.To summarize, this frame is OK at best. It looks nice enough (the carbon fiber is a cloth wrapped around an aluminum plate), goes on securely enough, comes with anti-theft screws and foam padding for rattling... it does its job. Be delicate with the caps when snapping them on, and you'll be alright. Also, as shown in my photos, they do fit standard Virginia (VA) license plates. One more thing, you only get one (1) plate per purchase.

I was a bit skeptical about spending $60 for two "carbon fiber" license plate frames.......they are actually metal covered with some carbon-fiber cloth. The disappointment was the lack of correct fasteners. Sure, the package includes a bunch of nice fastener options but the most important ones were not in the package. Every car that I know of is drilled and threaded for the two top holes of a licence plate frame. The bottom holes of the frame are simply used to attach the frame to the plate - NOT to car. Nice threaded screws were provided BUT NO nuts. Another real weakness are the small plastic "washers" that are used for attaching the "carbon fiber" caps that hide the attachment security screws. The washers tend to distort and the edge separated on one when tightening a fastener. These critical components need to made much better (stronger). I am not sure how they are going to hold up and if the plastic (carbon fiber?) caps are going to stay on.Bottom line, for a $29 license plate frame it needs to include better plastic washers, better fastener selection and some "spare parts" (washers and caps) - just in case they are needed later.

Great carbon fiber quality, thin form factor and ultra slick & stylish licence frame. I chose the 4 holed version which has no rattle thanks to the included foam adhesive backings, this thing is going no where and it is perfect compliment to the factory carbon fiber exterior styling of my ride. Although, I didn't get the bonus non-slip phone holder (bummer), the manufacturer included security screws and matching carbon fiber cover caps and backs the frame with a warranty of up to 3 years from any defects. Pretty satisfied with this purchase.

I should have known this item was going to be a worthless piece of crap. The license plate itself looks cheep and is NOT real carbon fiber. All four of the plastic screw covers broke. Tossed it in the trash and bought a one from BMW for $150.A real carbon fiber license plate frame will cost > $100.00. This one is crap and looks like it....

Looks beautiful. Well thought out. Had everything I needed, every possible mounting screw, along with special lock tool to lock and unlock the secure-type screws.

My initial impressions are that the product is pretty good. The frame is quite sturdy and everything fit. It was easy to install, I used the anti-theft screws which was one of the reasons I bought this. The frame looks amazing, like real carbon fiber. One of the caps broke when I tried removing it but it was cold outside (it was snowing). So I contacted the seller and they replaced the caps immediately. Overall, I'm happy with how the frame looks and how good the customer service is.

Went on nicely, looks great, the CF caps to cover the screws are a nice clean touch. Happy with this product.
