Worth Every Penny
Yes, this is a LOT of money for a hairbrush and it certainly was a lot of money for me to spend. However, this is like no other brush you will find on the high street and is, without doubt, the best brush I have ever used on my hair and I've bought and used a lot (Kent, Tangle Teezer, Hedgejogs...) I have long, reasonably thick and straight hair and this brush is a joy to use. Other brushes have always felt harsh on my scalp and they've hurt to brush out tangles, even the pricier Kent brushes. This brush seems to glide through the hair and doesn't tug at tangles, rather eases them out with little effort. The bristles invigorate my scalp and my hair always looks glossy and healthy (get me!) Aside from looking after my hair anyway I am convinced this is because I use a quality hairbrush that doesn't tug or rip at my hair causing splitting. I bought this brush 4 years ago and intend it to last me a lifetime by looking after it. People spend over £100 on hair straighteners that probably conk out after 2 years and then they replace them. This brush will last you a lifetime so I suppose you have to see it as an investment. If you can afford this hairbrush then for me at least, it's a no-brainer that you should buy it. I intend to buy one for my young daughter (as soon as I've saved the money!)

Best brush possible
I had always used Denman brushes which are very popular but I found that they pull at my hair. My hair is long and thick and used to be very tangled. My father has always used Mason Pearson brushes, he has had 2, the first lasted him 50 years of daily use at which point it was still in fairly good nick but missing a few bristles, he has now got a new one which is just as good quality as his last one. I have had this brush now for 2 years and I love it, it is gentle but firm on hair, doesn't pull or get caught, good size, not heavy, nice colour and I absolutely love it! I would recommend one to anyone and will be buying my own family Mason Pearson brushes, mine was a present from my Grandmother and a great present because its just so nice. It is expensive to buy though but at least you won't need another one for many decades to come.
