Optical Quantum 4.7 GB 16x LightScribe Gold Recordable Discs DVD-R, 100-Disc Spindle

I purchased two or three hundred of these DVD so far. I use them for recording videos or pictures. So far I have only found a few (2-3) coasters out of the hundreds of DVD's I've burned. The LightScribe surface hs worked flawlessly on all I have labeled so far. My only complaint with these was the cakeboxes they were shipped in got pretty beaten up during the shipment process and were pretty well unusable when I got them. I did have extra Cakeboxes that I could keep them in though so it wasn't a crucial problem.

The Lightscribe reproduction is fine, and is as good as you're going to get with a LS writer. My gripe is that I've used about a dozen discs, and so far, two of them have been duds. I'm used to 2 out of a hundred, but out of the first 12? Maybe it's just an aberration, but I'll know more as time goes by.By the way, there's nothing wrong with the Lightscribe burner. It does my CD's just fine.

This is my third spindle of these dvds. Out of the first two, I had two or three that didn't burn and one that didn't burn the lightscribe side. Too me that's not bad. Otherwise I haven't had a problem, which is why I'll keep buying them - because they're cheaper and they work.

This item is what was advertised and what I ordered. I found this product performed better than expected and as advertised. It has met and/or exceeded all of my expectations up to now. I do recommend this to anyone that may be in the market for or in need of such an item.

Optical Quantum 4.7 GB 16x LightScribe is a very good product and i would buy more of these things in the future!! i would buy more of these things in the future!! i would buy more of these things in the future!!

Found these disks very helpful in not only making the movies but also in putting a label on the disks. I like this as there is no danger of the label coming off and ruining my or other players.

I don't know if my issues here are software or disk or dvd lightscribe drive related, but every third or fourth disk that I attempt to label comes out squiggled up and funky. My bet is on the drive itself, but, hey, I've still got my trusty black marker so what the heck.
