It fits my 71 lb black lab and Newfoundland mix. He enjoys taking it for walks with light weight (waterbottles!) on either side. It helps tire him focus on the walk and obey better.It has great features, like removable pouches, a handle, and rings. We use the rings to attach poo bags and the handle to hold him if he is off leash and sees something too tempting.

This backpack seems to be a steal but it is not perfect. My one big complaint is the strap that goes around the front/neck is too short which makes the other straps hit in the wrong spot on my dog. He is 85 pounds but his chest measurement put him in a medium (30" if I remember correctly) so I went with that. The chest and belly straps have PLENTY of space for him. The saddle bags are very large (pictured below with a 100 ml Nalgene water bottle) and I think they could carry more than I would ever put on my dog. They are made out of a thin but apparently strong material (similar to a tent). Each saddle bag has a small pocket on the outside and one has a mesh pocket to hold a water bottle in place. The buckles seem sturdy and are easy to attach/detach. Each saddle bag has a velcro loop to hold it in place with the chest strap. Over all it seems like a good purchase but I will be making an alteration to the neck strap.For size reference he has 3 types of shepherd and a little bit of lab (no he's not a pit). He is tall and lean with a big chest.

Not great for holding anything more than 2 pounds on each side. I tried put some light weight in the pockets for added difficulty for my dog on a run and not even 2 pounds on each side and the harness was falling apart. I ended up having to return it

Tried it out on my lab, she goes backpacking with me and I wanted to have her carry her own food and other items. Look forward to trying it out on next backpacking trip.

Great pack! Ridg is small framed, but I like that this pack has a lot of space. Easy to assemble and adjust.The only thing I didn't care for was the back adjustable strap slips when you use the product with a leash. This is very easily corrected by tying the slack end.It appears we put the pack on backwards compared to the listing photo, but it works just as well!

My doggo absolutely LOVES her backpack! High quality, easy to put on your pup & it really makes her happy to carry her own toys and water bottle around. Highly recommend.

Can not beat the price when It comes to this bag, only this is the straps come slightly loose but nothing a safty pin cant fix

I read the sizing guidelines and ordered a medium for my 75 lb lab. Way too small., the front strap is even with her front leg. Additionally, the material is not strong. We used it for one 3-mile trip and it already has wear spots and one hole.
