DR-288 Electric Nail Drill, US 110V

I am so pleased with this product that I don't see why anyone would need to spend more money than to buy this reasonably priced and well functioning Nail Drill. I strongly recommend it. I really like the adjustability of the speed. I personal haven't used the foot control, but for those that are use to that it might be great. In fact, writing this has made me decide to give it a try. I highly recommend this product!

This is poorly made and came broken. It did not work from the box. I received it, opened it, and plugged in to test and knew right away it was defective. I packaged it right back up, printed return label and set up pick up time. This is the first item I have ever returned from Amazon and I would recommend investing in a better quality and known name. I have a great drill that is 10+ years old and works great, I just need a back up for when I send my hand piece to be serviced but this was not the best choice and I think I will spend the extra cash and order a hand piece from my other drill company.

*I got this drill after spending hours online picking out the right one. I chose this one after my first choice originally sold out. &I really wanted one with a foot pedal, but I don't even use it. The machine arrives exactly how it looks, it's a pretty lavender color. The handpiece is heavy (not too much) & durable. You definitely should buy extra drill bits to go with this, because it doesn't come with many. It's as loud as any drill machine I remember in the salon... Idk if that's a good or bad thing but I really don't mind it at all.CONS: When it got to my house I opened it right away of course to inspect it. Everything was fine but the "bit release" on the handpiece. When you turn the purple part on the handle, that's supposed to open up the clamps on the top so that you can switch your drill bits. Welll, mine was stuck shut. I was reallllllyyy upset thinking I'd have to send it back. But I actually took it apart & reassembled it correctly. After that, it's always worked like charm. The only other thing I can think of that I don't like is the fact that it gets really hot. So just be careful to not over work it. Other than that, I love it <3

I am a nail tech and needed a new drill ASAP and needed one much cheaper than cost of a true professional drill. I took a chance on this drill as it says it runs up to 30,000 rpm. I also LOVE a foot pedal since it makes speeding up and slowing down the drill so efficient. Unfortunately this drill doesn't have the power I need to do acrylic nails without running it at top speed...which makes it sound like it's screaming. Even using it to file off gel polish from my acrylic clients requires me to turn it up to almost full power to keep it from stopping when I apply any pressure on it.Now lets talk about the foot pedal. It is pointless on this drill since it is only off or on, NO variable speed. Why do you offer a foot pedal if I still have to change the speed on the drill box? The pedal should act like a sewing machine foot pedal and make the drill go faster when I press harder on it!Changing drill bits is becoming more and more challenging as the days go on. The twist open and close chuck is a great feature, except this drill seems to keep tightening up on the chuck so I can barely get my bits in or out without lots of tweaking on the top silver section.Look elsewhere if you need a drill that has any real power and a true foot pedal.

This is an okay nail drill; it has a lot of vibration. I also noticed that it barley works on the lower speeds. The release mechanism is now getting stuck from time to time as well. It is however better than the last nail drill I ordered from another web site. I am not sure if I would buy this drill again in the future. I was disappointed in the performance.

Got this for my wife who does her own nails. She has used it a lot since getting it. She loves it and does professional looking nails at home. It is holding up very well and it was much less than other places we found.

Dose. It work correctly, would love to return
