Nearly Natural Phalaenopsis with Glass Vase Silk Flower Arrangement

"Oh My Gosh, It's Hideous!" What I muttered to myself after I opened the shipping carton and first laid eyes on this item. Where do begin? Everything about this SCREAMS cheap plastic. The plastic of the stems and green "buds" leaked out of its forms while it was still liquid, leaving behind odd bulging seams, threads and knobs. The fabric of the blossoms is frayed at the edges. The blossoms are deformed and cannot be re-shaped. Some of the leaves have been damaged; others have smears of the fake acrylic "water" on them; all look fake, fake, fake. One of the "bamboo" stakes against which a stem is tied was singed and flattened at the top. NOT Nearly Natural. Badly Fake.

My friend is in an isolation ward at the hospital fighting for her life. I wanted to brighten her room but knew that real flowers would not be allowed. She told me that when these arrived everyone was buzzing about the beautiful orchid, but that she could not have it in her room...Then someone noticed that it is actually a silk plant! She could have this because they disinfect everything that goes into her room. I have not seen it in person - but I received a photo of her in that bleak and sterile hospital environment - smiling and holding it. I was so happy to be able to send her some warmth and color. Thank you.

The plant looks exactly like the picture, and very natural looking. Just have to bend the flower a bit to make it look better since everything's squeezed from shipping. Very happy with the purchase.

These orchids are beautiful, very life like. They look real, however if anyone that I know sees them they realize that I could never grow a flower this pretty :)

Gorgeous! Lovely Mauve colored orchid for my collection. I really like the hydroponic setting of this plant. So fresh looking. Not my favorite color but it different from my others so I went for it when it was on sale. I do recommend this. Buy it!

I wanted a live orchid, but lack a good place to grow one, so this is a great alternative. The flowers look quite real, although the leaves and roots could be more naturalistic (orchid roots are frequently grayish, not green, for example). This gorgeous creation lives on my desk and I love the grace it adds to it.To me the flowers are light purple with darker purple centers. This plant would make a lovely gift.

This item arrived on time and double-boxed, and firmly secured within the interior box. The color of the orchid petals was vibrant. However, that is the extent of the positives. The floral stems and the leaves were obviously plastic, not malleable, and not at all natural-looking. Although the stems and pebbles were firmly seated in the acrylic water, they were merely plopped into the glass bowl which was caked with a thick layer of dirt.

I bought this plant hoping to bring some life into my living room. Real orchids are hard for me and I tend to kill each I have owned so I thought this might work for me. I was hesitant because I didn't want the plant to look really fake. I was very surprised that this is not the case and I absolutely love the way it looks. My husband was very impressed and he's not in favor of "fake" plants but really has loved this one!

Tengo una debilidad por las orquídeas, pero estar comprándolas o hacerlas florecer de vuelta es algo tardado y costoso, después de pensarlo bastante decidí comprar esta para ponerla en mi recámara, me decepcionó que en realidad no parece ser lo suficientemente realista, las flores son muy grandes y las hojas en la base muy pequeñas en comparación de las phalaenopsis verdaderas.Debo admitir sin embargo que en general tiene muy buen aspecto y de lejos parece real, pienso ponerla en alguna maceta de cerámica y agregarle musgo arriba para hacerla parecer real. Si eres muy observador o quisquilloso no recomendaría comprarla.
