Alc Antimicrogel Hand Wipes 135 per canister

I started using this in the hospital and knew I wanted them at home. I will continue to buy until the price gets ridiculously high.

Product arrived fast. I ordered this because the hospital I had surgery at provided this product to clean my hands because I couldn't wash them with water due to O2 monitor and IV. Great for use with bedside commode for cleaning hands.

I bought these as well as the individually packed wipes of the same brand/type and is perfect for my purposes. Recently hemmorhoid problem has acted up and wanted something to sanitize my finger after inserting hemmorhoid or glycerin suppositories. Tried a "large" prep pad that turned out to be only 1" x 1" which worked but dried my skin despite using lotion afterwards. So after more searching on Amazon, found this product (first made the mistake of ordering PDI large alcohol wipes in canister that turned out to be for hard surfaces and not skin...thought I had read the description carefully but maybe I missed that feature). I like the aloe and Vitamin E as these are less drying (but anything saturated with rubbing alcohol seems to dry with repeated use) as well as the size. I didn't want to be pumping hand sanitizer all the time and didn't trust simple hand washing with soap. The wipes pull up and separate easily (no pulling and getting a "strand" of several wipes being pulled out connected to each other). Just the right amount of alcohol, I like the individually packaged ones for taking with me just in case I need one. Much more pricey than prep wipes but is so so much larger and much better suited for my use. I've used PDI products before and they have always performed as advertised and of good quality. If anybody knows of a better hand sanitizing wipe that's less expensive or more moisturizing, please leave a comment with this review and I'll read it. Thanks! In the meantime, if you're looking for a full sized alcohol wipe to sanitize more than a small patch of skin, these fit the bill and do offer a little moisturizing.

Cloth full of alcohol solution, nice and easy. Sometimes a pain to get it started but seems like a good product,

I discovered these because they're supplied for employees at my workplace. They feel really smooth on your hands. Other wipes I've used (Wet Ones) are a bit too saturated with the fluid formula, so they leave my hands soaked and feeling like I just smudged around the dirt and germs. But the alcohol content in these means that the liquid dries fast and my hands feel cooler and cleaner. The fabric is also thinner and a little bit more textured than Wet Ones, so I just feel like it scrubs off dirt easier without feeling harsh on my skin. In fact, I find that these are easier on my skin than Wet Ones for some reason. I really like them. It's a shame I can't get them on Prime; the delivery takes a while.

Added: 11-11-19 I see some people havent figured it out yet. DO NOT TOSS your empty can. Take about 1 1/2 inch from center of the new can and put in old one. Add some alcohol to refresh the old.* Feed that small roll from the outside. When you use the newer one feed it from inner core. *Alcohol wipes are exactly the thing for some personal use. Tried and true and you KNOW it works. Unlike 'sanitizing hand wipes' where you have to take the word of the mfr. If concerned about 'moisture and body oils' follow up with a-biotic moisturizers.- Summary: Why blood techs use alcohol swabs

This review is actually a composite of 5 stars for the wipes which are my favorite in the individual packages, and the fact that I couldn't get this canister to work properly. First for the individual wipes: they are less irritating than others I've tried (both on my hands and their smell) and the small package size makes them ideal to carry around in a pocket. I got a canister once before to use at home sometimes and don't remember any trouble getting the wipes to come up through the hole in the top. That was impossible with this canister. The only way I've been able to get an individual wipe is by prying off the top and pulling up the next outside wipe with tweezers. Hereafter, I'm going to stick with the individual wipes.
