Dynarex 3-Inch Non-Sterile Cotton Tipped Applicators are just what I wanted. The tips are slightly cushioned and well-wound. The fact that they have a sturdy wood stick as the base makes these easy to use. Cleaning areas or applying ointments are easier because the wood stays stiff so the amount of pressure placed on the cotton tip is consistent.

Not bad. I use these for cleaning small cracks and crevices in metal equipment. The sticks break too easily and there's not a lot of cotton on the tips. They were inexpensive. Maybe they're really only made for medical use. But I don't THINK I'll reorder these... rather I'll keep looking for a sturdier brand.

I prefer these with the wood.Makes it more sturdy

These cotton tipped applicators are a very good bargain. They don't break like others I have tried. They are all uniform and made with quality materials. They should stand up to whatever you use them for. Highly recommended.
