Unisol 4 Preservative Free Saline Solution - 3 4oz bottles (2 packs)

I wear PROSE (Prosthetic Replacement of the Ocular Surface Ecosystem) devices, which are rigid and cover the entire ocular surface - they are for medical purposes for those with complex corneal disease. I have Primary Sjogren's Syndrome, an autoimmune disorder that attacks moisture-producing cells, thus, I have zero tear production, which has caused major eye disease and discomfort, severely impacting my daily life. When I got the PROSE devices, I was instructed as to how to clean and fill (yes -fill) them with either sterile saline (the kind used with nebulizers) or Unisol 4. These devices are filled with saline so that the cornea is kept moist and spared further injury. For whatever the reason, using this saline promotes the comfort and extends the wear time for me. I actually forget the devices are in my eyes at times - quite amazing! Yes, it is more expensive for me than using the nebulizer-type saline, however, there is no contest as to which is the MVP for me - it's Unisol 4. If you are hesitant, try one. You only get one pair of eyes!

I have really sensitive eyes that dry out really easily. I have switched contacts, but my eyes still getting irritated and I was out of options. I talked to my doctor and started switching up the solutions I used. I found that the contacts I used were just find, it was the solution that was the problem now. As I was switching the solutions, I found some that really did make it worse and some that made it better. I figured if I didn't want to were glasses that day, my eye would pay for it at night. Then I stumbled upon this product. I could only get it online. The wait was worth it. It feel so much better than anything I have don't before. I am guessing my eye are drier than most making it really sensitive when an object it put into them. This product really makes it feel seamless. Deficiently worth a try for any eye type.

For those of us allergic or reactive to preservatives, unisol salt solution is good for contact lens rinsing or sinus rinsing. However, the product has become hard to get, and most sellers on Amazon do not reveal how much of the product you would get for their prices. Often you don't get what you might expect. CVS used to sell a similar product under its store brand but the stores near me don't carry it any more. The mix-it-yourself saline solutions can be irritating and expensive to boot.

Product is perfect for my need. Delivery somewhat slow.

So happy to find this at Amazon as most stores locally don't seem to carry it. Even chain drugstores have discontinued their store-branded versions. This is the perfect eye rinse for those of us with sensitive eyes - especially during allergy season (which tends to be year-round for me). I always travel with a bottle. 4 oz. bottle is TSA OK, make sure to check before ordering as it is sometimes only available online in larger 12 oz. bottles. The larger bottles are great for home use but won't pass security in carry-ons.

It is just ridiculous that eye doctors insist that some contact users have to use this product. It is a GREAT product, but we cannot get it here in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. Thank gawd we can order it! Please never stop selling this product. It looks like this is the only way we'll be able to get this stuff.

I use this solution with my scleral lens to fill the lens with the solution before inserting .. Solution is really good for the on who are using hard lens to avoid dryness of eyes

Love that i could find Unisol on Amazon, saves me a long ride to get it around here. Gentle eye rinse for me, and my Mom who has a lot of eye issue's~~:)
