Glock Armorers Manual, Safe-Action Pistols (REPRINT) Loose Leaf (Unbound) Loose Leaf

Received the Glock Armorer's Manual as advertised, however I also received a USPS mailing envelope full of carpenter ants and larvae. When I removed the mail from the mailbox this evening upon arriving home, all my mail was crawling with (what I thought) were plain ants. I brushed off all of the mail and left it sitting on a table in my garage for the little buggers to crawl off into the night. After a couple of hours, I went out to grab the envelop containing the eagerly awaited Glock Armorer's Manual to open it up and start reading it. I had assumed the ants had entered my mailbox from my yard somehow. It turns out that they were mailed to me; from what I can tell the armorer's manual had been sitting prepackaged in the mailing envelope for some time, and their presence was not caught at the time of the mailing. Now, instead of spending money on upgrades for my pistols, I have to spend it to have my home treated for carpenter ants... which can cost, i just discovered, into the hundreds of dollars. If I could give negative stars on this transaction, I would. Seller: PLEASE check your packages before sending out to other customers.

This is a good informational manual for anyone wanting to learn more about the Glock's internal mechanism. Being a reprint, some of the photographs are not as distinct and clear as they need to be. Unless you have attended a Glock Armorer's school, do not disassemble the pistol past the point of basic maintenance as described in the pistol's instruction booklet. Again, unless you are a Glock-certified armorer, the armorer's manual should be used only for information purposes.

Information contained in this manual will allow you to repair your own Glock pistols without having to spend your hard earned cash at a gunsmith.

An excellent manual, as you would expect since it is the OEM guide. Provided me with the details I wanted for servicing my Glock 9mm 17 Gen 4. If you need a manual for your Glock in this series then I recommend it.
