Double Lover [Blu-ray]

A puzzler till the end. Beautiful actress and for a change the sex scenes weren't add on. They were really good. Great acting throughout.

Blu ray arrived quickly and in good condition. As with many European movies I don't always understand so much female abuse in them. I bought this because of the beautiful Marine Vacth. At first it's a normal movie, then it gets a little strange, then flat out weird with the (spoiler alert) absorbed twin. Disturbingly entertaining in a way.

This movie was enthralling and captivating. The director very artfully places the viewer into the mind of the lead actress. You must understand this for the movie to make sense.Spoiler alert: Much of the film consists of hallucination of the lead actress. Apparently she had a dermoid tumor (parasitic tissue consisting of flesh, teeth and bone) which altered her mental state creating a variety of interesting hallucinogenic experiences. These kinds of growths can secrete chemicals and hormones that can influence the brain and thinking processes. It is all wrapped up in the end when one returns to reality.The lead actress was stunningly beautiful and was the more elderly Jacqueline Bisset. Ms. Vochte has an appearance in the film is similar to that of Mia Farrow in Rosemary's baby. She is beautiful but has an aura of vulnerability.

An interesting film, but hardly the situation that a normal person would find themselves experiencing or even wanting to do so.

I hardly have the words to describe this film. I'm still not quite sure what was what. Was the whole drama in her head because of internal issue or did it all actually happen and she only dreamed she shot someone? Very strange movie but so different from the usual output today. The sex scenes were a bit too much but it's French so...

Was Very Difficult To Keep Track Of What Was Happening, Had To Keep Rewinding,Otherwise Very Good , Some Nice Nudity, Lead Actress Excellent.

wow. what a riveting film. I was enthralled and hugely curious through the entire process. the absolutely superb acting; the directors ideas; the colors; and the mirrors. the mirrors were actors also. fascinating performances by marine vacth, jeremie rennie, jacqueiine bisset and everyone who was in the cast and all of the wonderful creative souls who showed us how to lose ourselves in this created magic of film.

This movie reminded me just how much I love French movies.

What a complicated an nuisance film. you would think its confusing but it is. and that’s the beauty of it.this film is filled with some shocking an revealing eroticism an suspense.the very opening scene is a shocker wait till you see it. I was like okay is that really what I’m seeing I said to myself big Wow.that’s a bloody first for me in any movie I’ve ever seen in my life. an the beautiful Jacqueline Bisset man she still got it.I don’t know who’s the owner of it but this girl “Marine Vacth (Young an Beautiful) is not shy at all she’s like a Gina Gershon”its like every avenue is open to this girl about acting.Deliciously Twisted Erotic Thriller..Wow.Widescreen 2.35:15.1 DTS-HD Master French with English Subtitles.Runtime 110 Min.
