Amazing upgrade from stock Joysticks
I bought them because they were cheaper than the HandheldDIY pair. I read some reviews that the DIY pair had a tighter feel which is better if you like FPS games. I already liked the stock stick feel, and these hit the mark. Really easy to install, follow the instructions and you'll be set. On top of these, I upgraded the stock analog sticks to the ExtremeRate PS5 sticks, and it's feeling and looking amazing now! 10/10!

Simple!
This was an absolute breeze to install and they work fantastically. There was absolutely no external calibration necessary and they replaced a wonky right joystick that came from the OEM. Absolutely recommend for the Ally X and took less than 10 minutes to install.

Worth the upgrade!!
Easily the best upgrade for your Ally X. Straight to the point install and calibration is done within Armory Crate. Tension is tighter than the original module. Get it!

TERRIBLE QUALITY CONTROL
Basically the what the title says. Initially bought to prevent dealing with oem sticks developing drift. However, the moment I installed them I knew something was wrong with the left stick. It was very clunky and grindy as apposed to the right stick which was buttery smooth (like they're supposed to be). I then went to test them in a game. Was not pleased with the result. Extremely bad drift on the left stick to where it was impossible to play anything. Just be aware when buying that you may have the same issues that I had.

Simple Fix For A Major Issue
Got these to prevent my Ally getting stick drift. Not too bad of an install. Watch a couple videos and be careful opening the system and you should be good. Well worth the effort.

Almost there but needs some serious tweaking
I was really excited to get these in and see what all the fuss with Hall effect sticks was all about. First, what should've been a simple installation took longer than expected because the ribbon cable just WOULD NOT fit the left joystick no matter what I did. After some perseverance and switching the cables between joysticks, I finally got it installed, but there's definitely an issue with tolerances on this module. Everything with the right stick went off without a hitch.Secondly, the left joystick had a clearly audible click when moving to the left and was far LESS smooth than the OEM stick. The difference between the left and right sticks was night and day and the right stick felt great. After reading around more online, it seems I'm far from the only having such issues. Why none of that gets brought up in previous reviews is beyond me, but checking other sites suggests this to be a common problem. Quality control seems to be the major issue here and makes using these less than ideal. I thought about sticking it out and seeing if anything improved, but my online searches didn't give a lot of hope. On top of that, there is actually a part on the left side of the left module that catches and grinds against the dome on the stick itself.I don't doubt these have a lot of potential but there seems to be a plethora of manufacturing issues right now. It's possible to get a perfect product but that seems to be the exception. I'll be returning these and trying something else.

Works, easy install.
Works as described, seem to be a bit smaller deadzone. Still have the ally x biggest flaw, they still snap to the cardinal directions, but not as noticable with the tighter deazones.
