The muffs work great!
These leak a little so I ended up putting a tote under the lower unit while running so it could also suck in the extra water that way. Worked fine. They can't be pulled super tight - even though it's on a rod and you push it together. The suction isn't enough to keep the muffs glued to the lower unit. Good for short testing but eventually will kill your impeller if you're not careful.

Works okay. Would be great if offered in smaller sizes. I am using it on a Johnson (same as Evinrude ) 9.9/15 HP two stroke. With a bit of fiddling I was able to install it. Once in place it stays in place, does not vibrate off. Unit allows me to shift the motor into gear to run at higher RPM. I get good water flow throughout the motor.

So much better than the clamp kind
I was trying to winterize my stern drive with a gravity system. The square version from Sports Academy leaked all over, caused the motor to cavitate. A case of you get what you pay for.

Better than the other style
Clamp-ons can slip off. These do not. An extra step may be required. On my yamaha I have to remove 1 phillips head screw and remove the water intake strainers. (You can mod the strainers).Stays in place!

Great for my application
I have a 2001 tohatsu 25hp two stroke and I’ve purchased many “wash muffs” and this one is the only one that makes it push water out the “head” coolant port. Great product. I had to take a file to the stainless dowell To make it slide on and off more effectively.

Mercury Marine flush kit
Works just as advertised, the soft rubber cups seal perfectly and provide great water flow for my Pro CS. Just put tape on the lower water pick up so that water doesn’t shoot out. Merc sells a goofy kit for $80 but duct tape works better.
