Men's 6" Premium Waterproof BootBoots

I'm writing this to correct some of the misconceptions I had because of reviews here on Amazon and almost did not buy online. First thing these boots are genuine. The overall quality of Timberland boots has gone down to some extent but there is no difference between these or the ones in any Timberland store (in UK). The size only requires a bit of common sense. Amazon correctly asks for the UK size (if you log in via amazon.co.uk), and this is clearly printed on the box near the barcode, along with European and other sizes (see picture). In addition the box has the American size in large font which may confuse some people but is certainly not worth mentioning as a negative point. The fit is true to wear size; if you are 9 for normal shoes then buy 9. The best way I can explain is that even if a size 8.5 just fits you, and you have been able to occasionally wear an 8.5 (for e.g. from Clarks) but you normally wear 9 as that is a better fit then go for 9. I say this because the toe box is a bit on the right side and if you buy 8.5 thinking you will break it in it might be very uncomfortable. Plus these are meant to be worn with sports/ winter type socks. But definitely do not go a size above. Stick to your everyday wear size otherwise once you break it in it would feel loose. It can take a good couple of days to soften the front, the tongue and shaft area but Timberlands are still one of the most comfortable in 6inch boots. About the quality the leather feels a bit thin and the shoe laces are stiff. The overall workmanship has also suffered which one can spot around the seam lines and soles. I got two pairs and there was visible difference if you have a keen eye. A comment about the Amazon try and buy. Basically it lets you try products upto a total of £100 and doesn't let you add less than 2 items. So at £80 you cannot try it unless you add another item to "try". And then you have to wait for it to be sent before to try another size. I would say just buy a couple of pairs around your size and just return the ones you don't need for refund. Please take pictures of packaging, and as you open, them because Amazon sends these in PET envelopes whichcan potentially damage the box. I was lucky that the damaged box was the pair I kept (see picture) Essentially a bargain for £80 which is price you might only get on Black Friday deals or in outlet stores. Stock up while stocks last!

I bought these boots as I wanted to try this iconic footwear, plus Timberland are well known for their high quality. I've had them for a year, and I'm very happy with them: they fit like a glove, look great, they're classy and comfortable. The sole is rather stiff, which may not suit everyone, but after a while you get used to it, and I love walking with them, warm and waterproof, ideal in winter days. The nubuk leather makes them prone to scratches and marks, but with a brush and the dedicated cleaning product you can get rid of them; some other reviewers report poor quality of the shoelaces, but so far I haven't had problems. I'm happy with these boots, they're not cheap but they're worth their price and I can certainly recommend them.

Got these in an Amazon sale. A bargain at £68. As always with these boots, they’re very well made, fit perfectly and as comfy as my first pair 20 years ago. Quality has suffered somewhat over the years but so has many other top brands. This does not take away from the fact these boots are extremely well made and last. I’ve another pair I use for work I’ve had for 5 years. They get worn everyday, dirty, grubby, muddy, but still intact and comfy to wear. Used to wear a major workwear brand (C) boots for work but my old tims have taken their place. These I’ll save for keeping clean and smart for going out. Service from Amazon was as always excellent, boots are excellent! Even at full price they are worth every penny

So I got these boots for my brother, and lets be honest, they are pretty expensive but great product for flat feet. Now in my case I ordered this for Christmas and being really cautious about delivery date I ordered with plenty of time in advance: November 24th. Supposed to be with me on November 26th. On Dec 7th I checked the delivery status and said "on its way". The delivery provider was Hermes. Now, if you ever come accross this company BE EXTREMELLY CAREFUL. Lets just say I've never seen such horrible reviews on any company before. So pretty much just suppose your order is never going to come. These guys wont accept calls from the buyer directly so my seller was Amazon EU. WHAT A GREAT SERVICE. The contact us page with the chat was very useful, easy and fast. They sent me the same product on express delivery (instead of Standard, as I had it requested initially) for no extra cost. I wasnt charged twice and I had the product by Monday 9th dec. Clean process, no more mistakes. I would completely recommend the product (they look great), recommend the seller but be really careful with the delivery provider. These guys can just make your opinion on the whole chain be a 1 star. Thanks Amazon customer services.

Well these are Timberland classics , pointless reviewing a brand and item that is iconic , what's to say that has not been said before ?. Order fulfilled by Amazon ( good way to avoid fakes) these were a good buy at £130.00 and I have checked them very carefully against all the advice out there that advises how to check for fake Timberlands and YES these are the genuine product @£130. so that makes them a bit of a billy bargain in Timberland terms as I believe these boots sell for up to £180 - £200 at most outlets. Buy them from Amazon (fulfilled by Amazon ) with confidence..... glad I did . I am normally a UK 10 for boots but went for a UK 9.5 as these Timberlands can be a little big . On first trying them I thought hmmm seem a little tight across the foot as I am normally a G width but I wore them around the house for 30 mins and that feeling soon faded away . Second day I went for a 3 mile walk and they have already broken in and the 9.5 was definitely the right size . Besides Amazon had free returns on this item so if in doubt could have sent them back at no cost and ordered larger if required .

Having worn through and thoroughly destroyed two pairs of Caterpillar Boots, I was wary of going for a third pair. The first pair tore at the heel (between padding and leather) and the second came apart at the side (surely a design flaw?). I decided to give Timberland a go. Having read mixed reviews was somewhat confused but figured Amazon have a great returns policy and I could always return if not for me. Anyhow, sorry about the background, here's my review. Initial package- nicely boxed and feels like a premium brand should. Overall design is perfect, these are the definitive outdoor booy. Regarding construction, stitching is perfect. Leather, beautifully soft but strangely tough at the same time. Lining is perfect and has a reassuring firm but comfortable quality. Soles are rugged (with a capital R!) and feel like they will last (of course time will tell on this aspect- I will update this review!). Colour is sublime. Honestly, I realise this is s gushing summary but really have exceeded all expectations. If they last more than a year - Timberland will be my go to brand! Final note, perfect delivery and great price from Amazon:)

Great boots - maybe my 4th pair & first time bought on Amazon because the price was good & I was certain of my size . Ok regarding sizing : VERY IMPORTANT FOR UK CUSTOMERS : The size written in the boot is THE AMERICAN SIZE NOT UK SIZING ! My UK size is a 9 but TIMBERLANDS ALWAYS COME UP BIG therefore you need to order a HALF SIZE smaller than your usual size when buying . So to spell it out because it can be a little confusing : when you order here on Amazon order half size smaller, in my case an UK 8.5, & the boots themselves will have 9 marked inside them when they arrive because a UK 8.5 is a US size 9 . Remember this and you'll have no problem , pay no heed and your feet will be swimming around in a boot that is only going to stretch a little more with time !

My third pair in twenty years. Says it all really. They've gone a bit 'fashion wear' now but the build quality & comfort are as good as ever. The Pro series is what you need for work now but these boys will give years of happy motoring and they'll take a fair bit of abuse. Full ranges of sizes including halves, rare these days.. Lace up missing the last two holes until they loosen up a bit then you can catch the top but one. Never do the top one up folks, it's so not cool... 5 star ++ everyone should have a pair and they even make 'em for girls.

Ich suchte nach ein Paar warmen hochwertigen Stiefeln. Genau das habe ich bekommen. Es lässt sich toll in den Stiefeln laufen, kalte Füße hatte ich bisher noch nicht. Da ich die Gleichen in beige besitze, gehe ich mal davon aus, dass die Qualität auch bei diesem Paar noch lange hält was sie verspricht.
