WARNING! Not OEM!!! I bought this due to the microphone module in my original piece dying. Although this *did* solve that problem, it introduced several new ones.1) The module DOES NOT CORRECTLY FIT. Fortunately my case holds it in place, so not too big of a deal ... but ...2) The phone recognizes this as a CAM Plus module, and not an OEM chin. This meams that I can not use my camera quite the same way as before. For instance, I use the VOLUME buttons on my phone to trugger the shutter usually. It is *much* easier that hitting the dot on the screen. I can NO LONGER DO THIS.3) My phone will now only slow charge. 😖😖😖I plan on finding a LEGIT module and returning this junk.

The part doesn't quite fit. It doesn't snap all the way together like the OEM piece does. This isn't a huge issue for me because the case I use keeps everything snug. Other than that it is great. The charging port on the original part had become stripped and the cable would come loose. More than once I would wake up to a dead battery after thinking it had been charging all night. With this replacement piece the charging cable snaps in again and the phone is always fully charged in the morning. One star off for poor fit, four stars because it works as intended.

After about a year my phone wouldn't hold a charging cable securely. I could plug it in but I was unable to actually use my phone without the cord falling out. This was probably the quickest, easiest fix I've ever done to one of my phones...it literally snaps right on and you're good to go. It is identical to the original that came with the phone, down to the LG logo. My charger stays in and I can play Candy Crush in bed for hours at a time now, which is really all I've ever wanted in life.

My phone call mic started failing so I bought this replacement module. In the pics it looked very similar to the OEM piece. When I received it felt and looked the same as my piece. Installed my battery and plugged it in. Every thing works as normal and people can hear me again.

I'm giving this three stars. It works. It is loose on the bottom of the phone, but my case held it in.My biggest gripe is that after only 7 months of usage, the charge connector on the bottom is loose. Charge cables keep falling out or disconnecting. It also would say that the charger was not able to 'quick charge' even though a simple unplug/replug would reset it.The phone is over 3 years old, so I went ahead and replaced the phone.

My charging port went out on my LG G5, I was in a bit of a panic because it had died & my entire life is in it, calendar, all the phone number's... This product saved me from having to get a new phone & the sound is much better too so that's a bonus! I would recommend this for sure!

This was a life saver. I had dropped my phone and the module wasnt fitting properly anymore. I was worried I would have to replace the phone completely, but this fixed the problem and more! It fit snuggly and perfectly. I hadnt realized how loose my original module had gotten until I put in this new one. As long as you make sure to get the correct carrier model it is a great buy. I got it with two day shipping and it came in at the correct time as well. I am planning on ordering a spare just in case as well. Also make sure you pick the right color for your phone. I messes that up. Doesnt matter to me though because it is always in a case.

For whatever reason, my old loudspeaker on my LG 5 phone was crackling. This was the perfect replacement. Though the color wasn't a perfect match for my particular phone, I really didn't mind since it works well and since my safety cover covers most of it anyway. Finally, I love to support companies that allow us simple fixes so we're not throwing away the whole product.
