This is the only Water Feeder you should buy
I have gone through pretty much every water delivery system for my aviary (I breed Gouldian finches) this is by far the best.Glass reservoir with a strong, thick plastic base. Perching is at exactly the right distance from the water, so their poop doesn't end up in the water. Colored glass allows the water to stay fresher longer...JUST THE BEST

Works well.
Would of really liked if you could fill from above in place.Used to keep wild birds hydrated.

Birds use once and never again
I gave this water feeder to my mom because she loves birds. My parents have several seed feeders and a bird bath at their house. I thought it might help the birds to have a water feeder exclusively for drinking. My mom said that birds had a hard time using this feeder. She said they could not comfortably sit on it and reach the water. They would try once and then never come back. She thinks the only birds that might use this are hummingbirds because they can hover, but this feeder is not as good as a feeder made specifically for Hummingbirds. My parents moved the feeder to different locations in their yard to see, if that might be an issue. We do not recommend this feeder.

I Still Have Not Seen a Bird Use It
After 2 weeks of use, I still have not seen a bird use it. I change the water on a 3 day cycle along with the nectar in the HummZinger Hummingbird Feeder hanging next to it. The water level does go down, so it must be getting some use, but the birds still seem to prefer the conventional birdbath about 15 feet away. I added a Carabiner Clip to the attached wire bail to make hanging easier. I have hung this water feeder under an inverted plastic bowl to provide shade and keep the water from heating up in the direct sun. I don't think this deters the birds from using it because the hummingbird feeder, which is mounted in the same way, is visited all day long. This may be ideal if you don't have a bird bath, but if you do, this is probably not needed.

Birds and I are sold on this model
Replaced earlier water holder with this - bought because it’s audubon and I figured it would work the easiest and best. It’s a yes. Cleaner , more stable hanging- water doesnt spill so a fill lasts a bit longer.

Nice Glass, But Small, With Cheap Material Elsewhere...
Just got this a couple of days ago and have a few thoughts on it..First up let me say that providing water to birds is one of the most forgotten, neglected things people do when it comes to bird feeding. I have seen seasoned, well intentioned people with a yard full of feeders that don't have a single hanging water supply like this one. Sometimes they have a bird bath, but birds don't enjoy nor should they drink out of the same small bath that they wash themselves in.. Unless there is a fresh water pond or brook very near you, it's very important to have at least a couple of these kind of waterers available to the birds...Thus Autubon hanger is nice with its real glass, but it's also on the small side. You will be filling it a lot more than the twice a week they recommend if you have even just a couple of well populated feeders in your yard. As for the feeder itself, the other reviewers here that spoke of the rather cheapness of the platform and railings are correct. They are thin and very flexible and I seriously doubt you will get more than a couple of seasons out of them before they snap or warp. Also, the hook on the top of this is pure cheap wire is all. Just bent into the shape of a hook. It does the trick, but it's also so small that slipping it onto a hook of most kinds will see you spilling some of the water. I solved the problem of that by adding a 3" swivel clasp to it that slips over the Shepard hook I have this on without spilling any..I have the same thing on all my feeders. The hook at the top of this is easy to replace or remedy if it fails. But still, it would have been nice if for the price they added something a little tougher to hold it..And something longer..Pretty much what you are paying the price for on this is the glass that is nice, and which if careful will last indefinitely...Unfortunately it is not so with the railings, perch, or wire on top..Recommended only for those that have small yards, a few birds, and will take this in as soon as the weather cools. You may get better than a couple of years out of that way...

It works, but ...
It works, but is very cheaply made.Unscrewing the water reservoir from the base and back in is a little sloppy because it so cheap, but it does work and doesn't leak. The hook on the top is very poorly constructed. I took it off because it wasn't uniform around the top. It was impossible to put back on the way you are supposed to using the hook. So I had to close it up and force it back on.The good news is, the birds do like it and use it.
