Lovely bourbon aged tipple.
I love a nice bourbon or sherry cask tipple and this one didn't disappoint, smooth and that sweet almost vanilla caramelised hint of bourbon on the back is delicious.

Delicious drink. Can’t seem to buy it anywhere else yet wildly available in Australia ,

Great for a whiskey lover!
Bought as a gift for my dad who is a big whiskey lover, he said it’s a very smooth whiskey. It didn’t last long!

Decent Whiskey based Liqueur but I prefer Drambuie or Glayva
In my (slow) quest to find Whiskey based Liqueurs that are within the likes of Lochan Ora (the best but I don't think it is being produced anymore), Drambuie or Glayva I have purchased this one. I like the ones that I just mentioned because I like how the Whiskey and sweetness blend quite well. I have recently reviewed Bruadar which I personally found horrible as I don't like the cherry taste. So how does this compare to the ones I like? The initial smell is indeed a bit caramel like. My personal impression is that you can sense the separation of the whisky and caramel. It's like when you drinking it tastes whisky for a bit and then caramel and then whisky and then caramel. I don't think it is as sweet as the other ones (I prefer a bit sweeter) and I don't think the different flavours mix as uniformely. It's like you just mixed different ingredients now instead of leaving them blending for a while. Now this is not necessarily a bad thing and the inclination for more whisky instead of sweetness will certainly appeal more to whisky lovers instead of liqueur lovers. Conclusion: I enjoyed it, don't regret buying to experiment, likely won't buy again but only because I like other easily available options better and also want to try new ones but this is a personal preference.
