The audio quality is quite bad I'm afraid. Imagine a tiny speaker inside a large plastic cone. There seems to be a lack of mid to low frequencies. It sounds legible but its not something I want to listen to for longer than I have to. The wire on the side pops out easily, it could probably do with better build quality in that regard. The shape and fit are good for large heads however and they do block noise. The DAB was a little lacking in signal strength for me in areas where other DAB radios work fine.Bluetooth has good range and I had no problems there. Battery life was fair though you may want to charge it up every other day if you use them a lot.Alternatives - Look at the Honeywell Sync Bluetooth protectors on Amazon (Bluetooth ones are delivered from American Amazon.com) if you want better sound quality, but don't expect excellent Bluetooth headphone quality from any these hybrids. They seem to be made by companies that don't traditionally make audio products. If Sony or sennheiser were to team up with an ear protector company, it might make for a great ear protector headphone.

Expensive but really pleased with these. I can hear the DAB radio clearly even when strimming and mowing.Instructions are poor however. Before use, make sure you connect the battery lead - it comes disconnected. Also, you will need to scan for DAB stations first by pressing and holding the 'preset' button in DAB mode. Otherwise, it won't work! Rechargeable battery life is excellent and should be replaceable when it eventually gives up. I haven't seen this DAB version anywhere else other than Amazon. A great present for someone with a noisy, boring job.

The audio quality is mediocre. Speech is acceptable but music sounds very tinny.The DAB radio reception is weak where my other DAB radios have good reception.FM reception is good but you can't manually tune to a weak station if the auto tune won't pick it up.Bluetooth reception is good for music etc. but the mic is nowhere near good enough to be usable for phone calls.Battery life is good, lasts all day.Hearing protection is good although there doesn't appear to be an actual noise cancelling function despite this being 'implied' in the listing through the use of the wording 'Noise Reduction' and 'convert surrounding noises into your favorite radio program or music'.Build quality is mediocre: I used them outdoors in rain and the display steamed up from inside - not great when advertised as 'especially suitable for work in construction and landscaping work' which are inherently outdoor all weather occupations. In addition, the ear protection cups slide off the steel headband when adjusting as there appears to be nothing stopping the end of travel.I'm contemplating returning these as they really don't live up to the description and for nearly £90 i would have expected a better quality product in terms of both build and performance. If they were circa £50 they would be good value but they aren't so i personally can't recommend them.

These headphones are perfect, when i first used them i had a small problem tuning the dab stations but after reading a review on amazon (thanks Pedro) i tuned the channels with no problems, i e-mailed the manufacturers and they are going to alter the tuning instructions to make them clearer. the headphones are comfortable and the stations are clear i would not hesitate to recommend these and also was very impressed with the manufacturers response to my e-mail,

This has been a great product to use. It has dab as well as normal radio. I tend to use the bluetooth alot connected to my pjone to listen to audio books. All in all a good product.

Brilliant for Radio 2 on FM. Can’t rely on the DAB reception as you move around. Which is probably lack of signal and transmitters. Bluetooth fixed this as my phone was stationary in the van. Complex to understand instructions and why make it so difficult to set up or even switch on and off? Why make the volume knob stick out and catch on your clothes as your working? This problem depends on the work and your clothes, I expect I can make a modification.

I do a lot of site work and ordered these so that I could enjoy listening to the radio whilst working. A lot of the tools I use are very noisy so ear defenders are a necessity. These mean I can listen to music whilst safe in the knowledge that my hearing is still protected. The dab and fm work well and I particularly like connecting to my phone and listening to my own playlists.

I gave the head phones one star because if you have a large head and wear glasses you will have an issue because I my case the adjustable arms broke and caused and injury and the sound for liking is to tinny not like the pockkrrij

Acheter le 20/08/18Je me sers de ce casque pour le travail du bois sur des machines et pour l'entretien d'un terrain avec un tracteur diesel il est assez efficace mais je ne crois pas qu'il puisse atteindre les -30db qui sont marqués dans l'annonce et très limité pour les -25db qui sont marqués dans la notice à l'arrivée car avec une tronçonneuse ce n'est pas la peine. Pour le fonctionnement merci au vendeur qui m'a traduit le mode d'emploi en français, la FM fonctionne bien car je suis à 100km de Bordeaux et je capte des stations, pour les stations DAB on verra plus tard, le bluetooth en lecture des musiques de mon téléphone sa décroche de temps en temps et pour les appels je crois que le micro est faible et je fini les appels avec le téléphone à la main. L'autonomie est relativement bonne je tiens la journée et le recharge le soir, je voulais ce casque car j'ai des acouphènes et cela me permet de les supporters mieux qu'avec un casque classique. En globale je ne regrette pas mon achat.Le 09/10/2018Après un peu plus d'un mois d'utilisation je revois mon jugement l'atténuation n'est pas du tout celle annoncée la téléphonie comme je l'avais dit ce n'est pas le top et la solidité est limite et l'intérieur de l'écran n'est pas étanche à la poussière en gros trop cher pour ce que c'est.

Ich arbeite schon seit über 20 Jahren in stark Lärm belasteten Hallen. Hatte bisher immer Peltor mit Fm/Radio. Diesmal wollte ich besseren Empfang und suchte nach DAB ect. Dieses Teil funktioniert in Sachen Technik sehr gut, keine Frage, nur werden sie taub! Das ist kein Gehörschutz sondern ein Lärm Verstärker! Geht zurück!

Ich hatte vorher einen PELTOR Gehörschutz, leider kann dieser Gehörschutz nicht mit meinem vorherigen konkurieren. Der Empfang ist Mittelprächtig, der Klang ist gegenüber meinem Vorgänger echt Mager! Ich habe lange Überlegt ihn zurück zu schicken, werde ihn aber behalten da andere Vergleichbare Geräte um einiges teurer sind.Der Nachfolger wird wieder von einem anderen Hersteller kommen, ob PELTOR oder ein anderer bleibt abzuwarten.

Habe den Kopfhörer jetzt seit ein paar Wochen und möchte nicht mehr darauf verzichten. Der Empfang ist gut, ob dab oder fm. Auch Bluetooth funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Gute ist aber eigentlich das ich meine Ohren viel öfter vor Lärm beim sägen, schleifen fräsen etc... schütze. Und das ist es eigentlich worauf es ankommt. Über dem Tragekomfort kann ich auch nur gutes berichten. Selbst nach Stunden drückt da bei mir ( Brillenträger) nichts.Hatte für den Preis nicht so viel erwartet.Immer wieder.Michael Mertens ( Schreiner)

Ich war schon etwas enttäuscht da ich mir mehr erwartet habe. Mich hat ja auch gelockt was das Teil alles kann. Und wenn ich mir vorstelle das das Teil ansonsten über 200€ kostet wäre ich noch mehr enttäuscht. Bezahlung und Lieferung alles OK aber ich finde das Teil hat ein wenig den Touch eines billigen China Imports. Des weiteren ging bei mir das DAB gar nicht und die Qualität von dem Sound, Headset und rauschendes FM Radios entspricht nicht diesem was ich für diesen Preis zur heutigen Zeit erwarte.Auch die Batterie Klappe kam mir nach einmal öffnen entgegen. Ich habe das Teil zurück geschickt und suche weiter nach einem Gehörschutz mit diesen Extras in einer besseren Qualität.
