Works as designed
This valves work very well and can be modified fairly easily. My specific use for this was to install it in a Keurig. The float had to be heated and compressed on the sides to fit a more narrow tank and the arm had to be heated and slightly bent to accept the angle I needed. Cheaper plastics would crack or melt and this product did neither, so I am happy with the quality of the valve.

Low quality prone to leak.
Nut for base snaps off at slight pressure on thread stem.One of two elbows leaked.Nut thread and elbow thread are same clockwise so tightening one loosens the other.
