Quality, sturdy, great value
This toilet seat was easy to install. It was done in 10 minutes from opening the box and removing the old seat. it fits my toilet well (after lots of measuring and research) and is very sturdy. I usually prefer a wooden seat, but couldn't find any in the size/shape needed so took a punt on this based on the price compared to the competition.This seat offers quick release and slow closure - though the slow closure does take some time to actually close, but walk away and forget it.If I had to purchase another one, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again, so highly recommended.

great price, excellent loo seat BUT no instructions
no instructions, hence 3 stars - had to look closely at pics on sales page. Then used used YouTube and B&Q vid showing how to do it... after that only10 mins max - pity about the hour lost finding out how to do it!!Now installed, superb bit of kit and a GREAT price

Exactly as described very easy to fit and very good quality would definitely recommend and would buy again easily removed for cleaning and soft close works fine.

Soft close makes the lid not stay up
The media could not be loaded. Lovely seat, just the right size for my "shorty" toilet. Nice and sturdy, comfy but the gap in the hinge is awkward to clean. The soft close mechanism means it is also soft opening and the seat doesn't stay up! Might be better on a longer toilet where the seat can angle back more when open.

Good for the money
Fittings mean we can’t quite get the seat into the correct position. It’s OK but narrower than the previous one we had so couldn’t angle it any further back

Easy to Install but
This is easy to install as you can fit lid all from top. First push rubber plug into each hole (without screw in), then place washer on rubber plug , then screw down, align holes to lid, place steel covers over screws and push fit lid. Screwing down into rubber plug takes longer than expected as it expands slowly to tighten fit. For easy cleaning, you have a two quick release buttons on inside of bottom of lid. Mine came with no instructions.
