I love this backgammon set. The case is solid including the hinges and clasps. The felt board is perfect. Love how the dice roll across the felt surface without clanking. It has a pleasing appearance with the points not being stitched in. The checker pieces are beautiful, solid and are the perfect size. The weight of the pieces are perfect. The blue and white pieces are really nice. I looked at many backgammon sets and returned many. I am so glad I ran across this set. This one is staying with me for years and years of enjoyment.

Big, soft board with just enough bounce. Nice big pieces that are comfortable to hold. Beautiful dice along with soft felt - both on the board and lining the cups - makes for a pleasant-sounding game. Overall a well-made piece that's worth the price.

Just a word about this seller. We purchased a slightly cheaper wooden backgammon set that came lightly scratched. We returned it, no problem. The replacement came and it has similar issues, we determined this was just going to be the case with the wooden set so we returned that one as well - NO PROBLEM! I find this kind of customer service rare these days. This seller seems to be driven by making sure the customer is 100% satisfied. We ordered this upgrade, which was a little more expensive, but well worth it! It is a beautiful board, well constructed - just feels luxurious even when just rolling the dice. I highly recommend this seller and this product.

Really enjoy playing on this awesome board. I was surprised at this price point that it didn’t close properly. It takes manipulation of chips and a little finagling but it eventually closes. Thought in time it would settle in place but it hasn’t. Still love the board and not losing any sleep over it. Would’ve given 5 + stars if closed properly

We’ve got quite a few backgammon boards in our collection, from small and cheap to large expensive tournament boards. IMO, these Pointworks boards strike the perfect balance of size and price. The exterior is durable and really well finished, the play surface is smooth, and the marbled checkers are the best I’ve seen for the price. If you’re looking to purchase your first “real” backgammon board this is the perfect option, but if you’re a seasoned player wanting a second set then this is also a great choice. I got one in each color and they’re fantastic, although I’m partial to the green. Overall, I can’t recommend these boards enough!

After having a great experience with the 20 inch board released by Pointworks I was looking for something lighter but still premium. It looks like with this they have released yet another value set that knocks it out of the park.Comparable boards for this level of quality at this price point are not going to be nearly this good. Large readable dice, premium checkers, and a smooth felt board. The felt board is also much appreciated compared to the previous mesh board from the 20 inch set.Overall this is a great deal. If your new to backgammon it may seem expensive but you are getting high value for dollar compared to other established companies.

Although a bit pricey, this backgammon set is well made and quite stylish. My set came in perfect condition. I particularly like the large size. I foresee many matches being played using this set.

This set is top of the line. The felt is printed so the playing pieces don't get caught on stitching. The playing pieces are a great weight and beautifully crafted. The case is leather so there is no gassing off from those fake leather products.
