Very Tasty Truffle Oil
I had never used truffle oil before ordering this. With such a huge jug, there's more than enough to experiment with. This truffle oil really adds a unique flavor to dishes, and the scent is quite delightful. So far, I've enjoyed using it on pasta, roasted vegetables, and salads. I’ve also heard it’s great on popcorn, which I might try soon. Lastly, I appreciate that it’s made in Italy and that extra virgin olive oil is the main ingredient. Overall, this is a high quality black truffle oil from Gourmet Line, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves to cook.

It's just ok
This is probably my mistake but I saw truffle oil, huge made in Italy banner and the price and I automatically assumed that this is olive oil but it is actually a blend with canola oil. So value automatically is not that great. It smells mellow but the truffle taste is pretty strong. That's a personal preference so I am not scoring it on taste.Quality seems ok but again, the value is not that great

Good flavor but ……it’s cut
So I’m not going to lie, I was a little disappointed when I read the actual ingredient label on this oil. I was truly expecting less of a cut down olive oil and definitely not any mystery “flavouring” ( so Italiano to spell flavoring all with a U ). Nevertheless, I opted to try it vs pouring it down the sink and I’m glad that I did. The flavour (see what I did there???) was definitely heavy on the truffle side and it had a pleasant smell. I used it to sauté some zucchini and bell peppers and it banged. I got compliments from the wife (which always makes me happy) on both the smell and flavor of the vegetables I prepared for her.I definitely understand the price after seeing how cut it was but honestly…..I’m really not that fancy of a person so I still feel it’s a pretty good value. I could definitely see this being used in a “food service” setting to add truffle flavor without breaking the bank but for just one little family it’s going to take a while for us to go through this ginormous bottle. Probably going to break it down into smaller bottles that are easier to use (and give some away cuz it’s a lot of oil). Quality wise….seems pretty good. Definitely not an olive oil for dipping bread in and enjoying that way but pretty good to cook with.Minus one star for it being cut and the mystery….flavouring.

An Aromatic Truffle Oil
Thank you for this wonderfully aromatic bottle of Black Truffle Oil!A delightful scent takes over the kitchen soon after opening the bottle! To try this Italian oil out, we have very liberally coated some chopped potatoes & topped them with some black truffle salt, adding the black specs of truffle. The rest of the potatoes mashed with again a large amount of oil worked in, for the top of a Shepards pie. By this point the house is smelling pretty amazing! Both dishes come out with a wonderful savory flavor & a lovely golden finish.Overall, a great aromatic oil, with a refined flavor, in a useful quantity to enable & encourage liberal use! Thanks again!Update; Have tried this now to make bread! I really recommend trying that, a liberal amount after proofing the yeast and as adding the flour. Well worth trying!

Smooth, mild truffle-like flavor.
This oil is a combination of extra virgin olive oil and sunflower oil. Those are the first two ingredients After that the next ingredient is "artificial flavor" so who knows what that is. Black truffle is the final ingredient. I wouldn't call this a pure truffle oil because some of the flavor is coming from that "artificial flavor" ingredient. But still the taste on this is nice and it's not overpowering. I prefer white truffle oil for it's more intense aroma, but I can see using this when I'm looking for a mild hint of extra "truffle" in the mix. But if you're looking for a more intense truffle flavor you might want to try something else.

Not a pure truffle oil, but adds a nice touch
This truffle oil delivers a pleasant, though not overpowering, truffle flavor. It's definitely not a pure truffle oil, as the ingredient list reveals a blend of olive oil, sunflower oil, and artificial flavorings in addition to black truffle. While I generally prefer the more intense aroma of white truffle oil, this one works well when I just want a subtle hint of truffle in a dish. The large bottle size makes this a good value, especially if you use truffle oil regularly. I've found it complements pasta dishes and roasted vegetables nicely. However, if you're seeking a truly robust truffle experience, you might want to explore other options with a higher concentration of real truffle.

Must have
Great addition to any kitchen. The truffle oil has so many uses. Pecans and a nice glass leak proof jar. I really like the taste and felt it was a good value for the money.

Cut with sunflower seed oil & artificial flavor
If all you care about is flavor, you'll love this: it tastes like truffle, adds that distinct flavor to dishes without having to use too much, and you get lots of it. However, if you care about ingredient quality, this falls short. This is not 100% olive oil nor is the olive oil in this top quality with minimal processing exposure. This is cut with sunflower seed oil and instead of a real truffle infusion, it relies on artificial flavor for that gourmet truffle taste. That's why they can sell such a huge jug of it for a fraction of the cost. Also, this is a plastic jug which isn't great for storing oil in.
