Investing in a product like this is a waste of time and resources. Choose wisely!
This is a prime example of a poorly designed product.

Great dash cam.
With the manner in which individuals are driving nowadays, we wanted to get a camera for our vehicle! A Red light sprinter drove through the crossing point causing a mishap! Indeed it was the drivers shortcoming yet had we had the camera introduced it would have been far better! Drivers are so awful out there - utilizing their cells, drivers exchanging paths - it's horrendous! The camera was not difficult to introduce and looks smooth! The video quality is amazing, appears to associate with the WiFi well and it appears to hold memory for the distributed time. The large dealer on this cam is that it's fundamentally on all day, every day. This one associates with your OBD and accompanies the connector for that. It goes into a low power rest mode when the vehicle is off however you can enact it whenever you interface with it by means of your telephone application. It will likewise awaken when it faculties in the event that somebody knocks your vehicle and so on you'll get an instant message about the occurrence so you can really take a look at the video or speedy go gander at your vehicle. I don't know how this effects your battery over the long haul as I'm not ready to track down any documentation on it yet I assemble its suck a low sum it ought not be an issue. This run cam is a distinct advantage! It's dependably on and prepared, in any event, when my vehicle's off. I love the live streaming and the moment alarms in the event that anything happens to my vehicle. Video quality is sufficiently sharp to get subtleties like tags. Furthermore, the distributed storage is wonderful no stresses over losing film. It's ideal for anybody requiring additional security, particularly in occupied regions!

A big upgrade for your car!
The Nexar Beam2 was fairly easy to set up; I just mounted it on my windshield and plugged that in. It attracted me because it records in 2K QHD - way better than my old 1080p dashcam. I was recently using footage from the camera after a minor swerve and the detail was so sharp that I could read the license plate on the sped off car. The 256GB internal storage is a plus, I won't have to overwrite old footage.I like knowing that with unlimited cloud storage and automatic incident detection that clips are automatically saved and backed up in the cloud. I use the live streaming mainly when my teenage son takes the car away. Just a little extra reassurance that I can check in if needed. The night vision works well even on unlit rural roads.

Missing basic features, but the cellular coverage is nice.
Good quality cam, super easy installation. The fleet software lacks some basic functions that any fleet monitoring should have. I don’t see why max speed notifications can’t be set. Every other major fleet cam has that as a basic notification. If i knew ahead of time i wouldn’t have bought 18 of them. I don’t want to just bash the product, so i will say that the video quality is amazing, video retrieval is simple, and the customer service is very responsive.

Amazing features and quality, you get what you pay for!
The Nexar Beam 2 dashcam is the first dashcam I permanently installed in my car. It's a "big boy" dashcam with LTE service, large storage (256GB, but non-upgradable), up to 2K resolution, companion app integration, remote notifications, parking coverage, speed detection, and a cabin-facing camera among others! It certainly has "the goods"!The first thing I noticed in the unboxing is the quality of the product and how comprehensive and easy the installation is! The camera hardware is Apple hardware quality, it's heavy, robust, and made with excellent material choices. They built something that will certainly outlast your current car, which is why they gave you materials to be able to install it into a replacement vehicle without having to call and request (or buy) it! It adheres to the windshield of your vehicle, they give you cleaning wipes, drying wipes, a glass protection pad (clear sticker), and the 3M extreme double-sided foam adhesive pad to mount the camera. Top tip: use the glass protector...the 3M extreme would take the windshield with it otherwise! The installation is completed with the app you download (they give you QR codes to scan), and it walks you right through the process including activating your 1 year of included service and a full test of the system! They walk you through installing the camera on the windshield, plugging it into the OBDII port for power and data, and hiding the wire with the "tuck tool" and if necessary wire clips with tiny adhesive pads (didn't use them, lost some under my seat though!). I recommend doing it in the driveway for better LTE reception as well as room to tuck the cable and get it hidden via the gaps on the dash with the door open.My initial pre-conceived ideas of an LTE connected camera with the ability to "live stream" to the car from "anywhere" was "why have local storage if you see your drives in the app?". So, your drives (or events) are stored in the 256GB of storage in the camera (locally) under "normal" conditions. You can download entire full-resolution drives when you are in the car ONLY! What you get in the app is a time-lapse version where you can preview your drives where you see 1 or 2 frames per minute of driving. It allows you to identify which drive had something in it you wanted to take a look at. If you find something in your timelapse you can create a "clip" by selecting up to 3 minutes from that video and what it does is reach out to your camera over LTE, download the "clip" you made, downloads from your camera to "the cloud" and present a full-motion video for you to download to your phone remotely! The "clip" will be up to 3 minutes, full resolution, full color, full sound (I turned sound off on my camera)! Pretty cool, but not what I initially expected. You can also "Drop In" on your car (again for up to 3 minutes) in a live stream directly to your camera over LTE. That "drop in" is recorded on your camera as well and is downloadable remotely (since it's inherently only 3 minutes).Any "incidents" like hard braking, impacts, bumping the car while parked are automatically recorded and stored under "incidents" in the app.I think when I heard LTE and unlimited cloud storage I figured it was like FaceTime for my car...and it is...but with a very stingy data plan. Ultimately a dashcam is for getting access to video if you ever need to prove what actually happened and for that it's amazing! The fact that you can download high resolution video wirelessly (no losing SD cards!) if you are in the car is great, then you can send it to police or other drivers! If you are away from your car you get notices if someone bumped into it and if it's a short event you can download it remotely or select a short clip to download remotely after identifying the 3 minute segment with the time lapse.Another thing that's super cool is the fact that you always know where your car is parked! The landing page of the app shows where your car is on a GPS map! If someone else is driving it you get a notice that the car started a trip...I expect my daughter to take this car when she turns 16...this camera will stay in it!If you're looking for a quality dash cam that delivers a lot for your money with a lot of polished features and capabilities this deserves your consideration. While writing this review I was notified that there is now an add-on rear camera that's compatible with this model...I ordered it! That's the one thing I was going to mention that I thought it needed - rear coverage!

The camera you sold worked only for one day
The media could not be loaded. I read when I bought the camera that it includes a one-year subscription fee, but NASA charges me a monthly fee, why?
